But imagine you are a father and you see a strange playing with your boy or girl, would you just let him keep playing if he said he's a good guy? That's the point, he is too inoccent, even though he had good intentions from the begging to the middle of the movie, he didn't think about how other people would interpret his actions.
@@crazypopcorn7801 That, just like the movie, is a statement against society as a whole. Where a man with good intentions is immediately seen as a threat because of what we hear happen in the rest of our society. If a man broke into your deep wood cottage in the middle of the night, you'd wait for him with a gun or a baseball bat because the automatic assumption is that the person is malicious . It's completely possible however that he might have just gotten lost in the wild for weeks and yours is the first house he ended up finding. Instead of treating Arthur like a leprous freak, he could have been nice to him while keeping Bruce away from him. But since he's a stranger, he is automatically treated with contempt. That is the message.

Master-AT- Gaming All have sinned and so all are worthy of death and deserve hell, for God’s standard is perfection and none of us could meet it by doing good deeds. Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” But God loved us so much that He sent His Son to die in our place as a substitutionary atonement for our sins. He is the only way to Heaven that God has provided. If you believe in Him, then you will be saved. John 3:16-18 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

For those wondering how Batman and Joker will do battle with their huge age gap: It's confirmed that Arthur is at least in his early thirties, but looks older due to depression, smoking, and his poor health. And most versions of Bruce become Batman by the age of 25 or even earlier. Let's say Arthur is 35 and Bruce is 10(though he could also be 11-12); in 20 years, Arthur will be 55 and Bruce will be 30. It's completely possible for the two to do battle someday. But I'm gonna wager that Arthur is a bit younger than thirty five, so he'd be anywhere from 50 to 55 in 20 years. And if Bruce becomes Batman at 25, then Joker will be in his forties. So it's very much possible for the two to do battle someday as archenemies. Joker's never really been a physical threat to Batman anyway, though. Joker is more of a schemer who relies on traps, manipulation, and plans as opposed to actually fighting Batman. And considering how massive Arthur's following is, he wouldn't have to do much fighting.
@Ali Shabbiri True, but a lot of people complain that the age gap means he won't be threat to Batman. Joker can challenge Batman in more ways than physical, so the age gap is irrelevant.

“We’re going to have such fun times together.”
Makes sense how joker doesn’t really ever want to kill batman (like he kind of knows he’s Bruce ) and vice versa. They both might actually think they could be siblings.
That wouldn’t make sense if it would be DCEU, my theory is The Joker(Arthur) was a well known criminal and later another joker(Pattson/affelk) was using his(Arthur) trademark.
@@deoneken Good theory, but this Joker is pretty much a stand alone film. I don't think it will ever belong to the DCEU, which is fucked up itself anyway.
@@deoneken We’ve already seen how Batfleck’s parents died and Pattison is too young to fit into Joker’s continuity. I like that this film is a standalone. It gets to play fast and loose with the rules.
Because Joker "loves" Batman in a twisted way and Batman is the only one who can ubderstand him and makes him existence worthy
@@deoneken so like Heath Ledger's version just used the idea of a joker that Fleck made?
You know, something I didn't realize at the time--the Joker is known to be a surprisingly good hand-to-hand combatant, freakishly fast and agile. It just occurred to me now, watching this, just how insanely fast Arthur is, how he turns on a dime from unflinching nothingness to violent in the blink of an eye. Tiny detail that fits perfectly with the Joker, actually.
Then how come he got his ass kicked on the train against those yuppies?

Nolantards: TDK is the best CBM. Joaquin: HAHAHAHAHAH
Bruce Wayne: my safety word is pineapple.
@@lickenhuntsman5338 Nolantards? That's a new one. Why can't people like whatever they want?
When you think about it, it was here that Arthur thought Thomas was his father, so here it feels as if he was trying to warm up to his supposed "half-brother". _And if it were true, nothing would be able to describe how tragic that would be-_
It's clever how Bruce is portrayed as being completely unfazed by the soon to be Joker.
The beauty of this scene, to me, is showing how Arthur wanted to make a child laugh. Before he became Joker, Arthur wanted to entertain.
That's the intire point of the movie
They are going to meet each other again, but there won't be that fence separating them.
This actually could've symbolizes on him being behind bars. Hay since people like this shit comment so much here's another possibility. Since these was based on the Killing Joke what if Joker was just breaking out so he can do just that his clearly old enough to have been the Joker for 15 or 16 years. And is about to have a happy reunion with the old Bats.

What if he is in prison, like in Batman V Superman with Lex Luthor ?
Lol. Joker being in his mid 60s and batman in his 30s. Yup, love their logic here.
@@samlung2724 It would be awesome.
If you can’t tell, there’s more than 1 sociopath in this scene. Look at Bruce as he is watching Alfred get strangled and look at him while he watches his parents die. He always has such a stoic expression.
Bruce looks like his parents are already dead .
Not sure if it means anything but both Arthur and Bruce are wearing almost the same colour schemes. But different styles, as if they wanted to show sort likeness between them as if there were brothers. Bruce wearing expensive clothesline and Arthur wearing casual and almost thrift store clothing to also show a difference in social status.
Finally someone who notices this. For me, this gave me a vague sense of Bruce and Arthur being "brothers". Like a subtle hint or something too.
I think its a metaphor for something, but not brothers.
Good catch, that seems a very likely concious dressing decision, makes sense
yeah, everything about the clothes, the pants are the same colour theme. Including hair, hair cut and eye colours are all similar. a twinsy vibe.
Yeah that's called wearing clothes There is nothing to look at for their clothing choices bro ones rich ones poor this wasn't a director's cinematographical choice it was literally just whatever made sense
This is most bruce wayne looking kid out there. He has the look for sure
Women are queens lol for real tho.
Yeah
Funny enough, the kid is the same actor who played young Joaquin in "You were never really here".
I LOVE the cheeky little foreshadowing (or nod) of little Bruce sliding down the pole to the Batcave.
I love how it shows him go down that little pole, kinda like the one seen in the batcave in the old batman show.

Bruce's ever so slight smile when Arthur handed him the flowers damn this scene is heart-wrenching
The detail which fell through and which was important detail was that during his choking scene he saw bruce and because he didnt wanted to frighten him he let go of alfred and ran, it shows arthur if properly taught and cared would know how to show affection in normal way, it shows arthur wasnt a demon but because of false medication had tendencies to become violent, this scene proves that arthur wasnt evil but that medical file exposing his mother's lies turned him into a monster
