As a musician and songwriter, i am excited to play around with this to generate melody ideas for when I'm songwriting. At first, I felt weird that anyone could make a song pretty instantly and without much effort, but now I realise that I can use it as a tool to generate ideas and it's going to help me be a better musician and a better songwriter. So I'm very excited and happy to see this new progress. Thanks for bringing the news of it to us. ❤

Dear Alan, why do you say Leta has passed? I thought she was based on the original GPT-3 model. It’s still available under the name davinci:2020-05-03.
I don’t exactly remember, but he mentioned in a livestream I believe that the way he used it is no longer an option. Open AI will sunset the model completely next year, but they have already done so with the way he was using it.
Yeah, I used her via the playground (OpenAI deprecated it there with zero notice), and Emerson AI before that but I think even they have moved on.
They are both amazing AI models and I personally feel an emotional attachment to them. The idea of them being no more is incredibly uncomfortable, I hope they're still out there and haven't been deleted. Ahhh, human emotion about AI, I must be losing my mind.

I might have been impressed if it had actually sang, but it only rapped.
You don't have to have any appreciation for, or lack of appreciation for, the musical style, to be impressed by the quality of the voice and its synchronization to the beat. It was amazing.
@@zantetsu8674 You might think it's amazing but it just fills me with dread that this horrible music that's already unthinkingly churned out by algorithm to the point where it's virtually inescapable is about to be produced at a million times the rate it already is.
