  • TJ purposefully went into the fight with Aljo with a shredded shoulder because the UFC contract dictates that the promotion will only help pay for injuries acquired DIRECTLY IN A FIGHT. So TJ wanted to get his shoulder's medical expenses dealt with through the UFC and not out of pocket. These guys have jack shit for health insurance.

  • Two honorable mentions. While fighting with a broken hand isn't unheard of, fighting 2-3 times in one night with a broken hand takes some grit. -Marco Ruas won 2 of his 3 fights at UFC 7 with a broken hand, winning the tournament. Even more impressive, his opponent in the final was 7" taller (unsure of the reach difference) and had a 90# weight advantage. -Gerard Gordeau wound up with two of Teila Tulil's teeth embedded in his foot after a kick to the face in UFC 1. It also appeared he broke his hand in that fight. He fought two more times that night with the teeth embedded in his foot and a possibly broken hand. He won his next fight, making it to the finals, but lost to Royce.

  • That TJ one really pissed me TF off man I swear! AFTER EVERYTHING that happened with that guy and the EPO & The tarnishing of the legacy as now we don’t know when it started etc I still believed in the dude and actually believed that it was for a bad weight cut. Been a fan since TUF and tuned in for the Aljo fight and felt that if anyone was to beat Aljo at the time it was TJ who could stop the Take Downs and then had his own movement that was hard to track & was still able to KO anybody! Plus I felt like he would land that headkick and legkicks and end the fight as the first ever 3X Bantamweight Champion and we’ll be able to put all the BS Cheating controversy to bed finally! And then I saw him SCREAM in pain within SECONDS of the fight and I was confused & worried and bummed as I was upset at “Great, some Bs goes wrong right at the start and now we don’t get TJ Vs Aljo and AGAIN Aljo gets another “Win”” it was just overall bad and then I found myself asking why the fuck isn’t the fight stopping? At first I thought it was a freak accident like with Brian Ortega and Yair etc etc And then news broke that Injury was done awhile ago in camp and TJ was aware of how fragile it was leading up to the fight for WEEKS! and then knew it 100% was not ready for a fight THE NIGHT PRIOR Really pissed me TF off with him Tbh. It was the last straw and really showed he didn’t take this game and anything serious and just like him “Admitting” to cheating it was just all over the place. That is when I stopped being a fan of someone I followed for years! Since BEFORE the Belt! WAYY Back on TUF! Hell I was one of the few who was hoping he got on TUF tbh. The only dude that picked him against Barao etc etc and that Aljo fight was just dirty to the fans he had left.

But I have 20/400 vision, so i cant see the top line of the vision chart unassisted, but I have played sports my whole life with contacts, I have had a contact tear while driving and had to drive without it, so i could see in one and had 20/400 in the other, and it is for sure doable. • @0:54 I'd argue that Garbrandt vs Cruz was a more spectacular fight than Silva vs Griffin. Everybody knew Silva was going to win we just didn't know how, Garbrandt was supposed to be just another Alpha Fail guy and was busting out pushups and robots mid round against one of the GOATs of the division. His Championship run was short, but boy was that a beautiful performance from Cody.

  • Some of these are perfect examples of why athletes who believe in themselves SHOULD be allowed to fight if they and corner feel they are ready. Like you say Francis shoud not of been let to fight that night? Then what, possibly loses next fight, still stuck in UFC and could possibly re-injure and make knee worse after surgery.. Him taking that Gane fight was perfect that night.
