Her then suggesting Nunes was ducking her after being completely tooled for 5 rounds in the rematch? Embarrassing.

    @25Dzone@25Dzone10 ай бұрын
    • I'd like to piggyback off of this. Right after that win over Amanda, Juliana said Amanda wasn't a "real mom" because Amanda didn't carry her baby in her own womb. That's an extremely fucked up thing to say that pretty much undermines every mother who has ever adopted, fostered, or gone through non-traditional means to become a mother. It also makes you wonder if she thinks men can't be real fathers if they haven't directly impregnated a woman. To which I have to ask what happens if her own child wants to be a parent one day, but has reproduction issues or likes the same sex??? Is Juliana gonna say her own child isn't a real parent because they didn't follow the traditional formula of the birds and the bees??? She not only comes off as delusional from her most recent comments, she also comes off as a trash human being in general ever since her hiatus from the sport ended.

You can be the anime babyface who welcomes a challenge, tries their best, and does charity work on the side. Before we found out Brian Ortega was a little too confrontational, his big motivation was using his success as a fighter to fund his charity work. It is possible to be a good guy and be a popular fighter. Georges St-Pierre and Demetrious Johnson are the best examples.

  • I feel a lot of fighters are delusional somewhat. They may need to be in some contexts. I see it like a QB that threw a pick but need to forget about it and get back out there next drive. When a fighter is thoroughly defeated, telling themselves it was a fluke or bc of something, can help them bounce back. It's a negative tho imo if it keeps them from addressing what they need to work on, which are the reasons they may have lost. It's a double-edged sword imo, needs to be perfectly balanced ideally

I don't deny that Punk getting involved in MMA is commendable, but to think that he could compete in the biggest organization despite not only being inexperienced, but also being not that great of an athlete to begin with is simply absurd. I played basketball in High School, I'd love to play in the NBA, but I'm 5'10" and have a 64" reach lol.
