COD copying battlefield will be postive for COD. But Battlefield copying cod will be very negative for Battlefield. 2042 and MW are the great examples of this.
What did 2042 copy from CoD? Tactical sprint is one but what are the other things
@@MrRonskiMW19 warzone was a grand success and generated lot of revenue for Activision. That made EA to push DICE to make Battlefield like a BR game at the beginning was the first major issue of 2042's development. Apart from tactical sprint and gun animations, The soldier movement was faster like cod. Addition of third person takedowns like cod. Even dice didnt give death counter on scoreboard at the beginning. Then dice adopted ADS jumping from cod. In previous Battlefield games, when you jump while on ads, soldier will drop that ads. This was in 2042 as well as in cod creating bunny hoping issues now. And also, Dice released a “What a time to be alive” promotion video for 2042, before it’s launch. Activision does this kind of marketing trailer stuff. Battlefield doesnt had such kind of promotion trailers before. But EA does it with 2042 for the first time. As youtubers angry joe show and Act man said on 2042 review - "We dont need COD, we need Battlefield". I also agree with them. EA, here actually tried to entice cod fans by making 2042 more appealing to cod player base rather than bf player base. Watch Act man's "Dice is incompetent with 2042" video. He explained it very better.

I genuinely thought this when playing the hardline campaign last week.. and even the multiplayer. I was using an ACR and it felt the same as mw2

Cuz people only care for multiplayer. it was trash bud that's not my opinion that's just numbers.
@@refugeehugsforfree4151 multiplayer was a lot of fun, solid maps, great weapon customization and gameplay. But it didn't have that "BF feel" which is a fair criticism. Definitely think would have flourished more if it capitalized on CQB a bit more.

Even if you have no clue.. and they are all wrong.. the ONLY thing that makes hardline a “non-Battlefield game” is that it’s not military, it doesn’t have Jets and stuff. Apart from that it’s a magnificent Battlefield game. One of the best FPS campaigns ever. And easily one of the best multiplayers. Incredible gunplay and gameplay in general. Some truly awesome and memorable maps, like dust bowl(classic battlefield map) great progression system, and not to mention the best weapon line up in known history. Truly a great game, phenomenal package, proper bang for your buck it was. I don’t play MW2, but I played MW19, and I loved it. However I would drop it in a millisecond if Hardline 2 came along or it was populated again properly. Trash game? More like blithering sheep riding the dick train, so blinded by others opinion they couldn’t see a great game if f****ng hell exploded.

@@AndyKunkel sure, but the numbers show it wasn't at all anything like that in reality. No one wanted this game and the people who like it literally say it's not a Battlefield game. It died a couple months from launch and everyone went back to older BF titles. Kinda like the launch of 2042 everyone abandoned it almost instantly for older titles.
Now that makes me wonder how many developers from the defunct Visceral and Dice LA are now working with Infinity Ward and thats what took inspiration.
Thanks for this Hardline recognition, great game I still play to this day (servers still alright on Xbox One version). Fun Battlefield campaign and the maps have great design.

Hope someone makes Hardline 2. With similar campaign, similar progression system AND similar epic weapon line up! Honestly hardline was bangin. I haven’t seen a better weapon lineup since Driver: San Francisco. Ok that was cars instead of guns, but the principle stands.

idk but for ac130 its mission simililar from cod 4 also for higrises mission actually more like similar from cod ghost, cod mw2 remake are take from old cod refrence such a cod 4, some of mw2 and 3 and cod ghost we already know cod ghost also will have remake version.. for interegation they said its copying from Rainbow Six cuz it has animation same as rainbow six siege... but its up to you for mexican cartel mission in texas yeah its kinda new from me but some leaker before cod mw2 release it taking refrence from sicario movie refrence so idk about that mission its same or not
Hardline was so good and fun with the unbalanced weapons back in the day. The grind for the pre patch 300. Knockout was worth it. We need a sequel immediately

This is a good video, but it's hard to understand what you're saying when there's intense electronic music playing in the back ground, it would've made listening better if you used more "soft" or "chilled out" songs, it's just a small thing tho, I would still recommend this video to other people

If they updated Hardline with graphical improvements and integrated the DLC for free that game would blow up.
People hate on hardline but I personally found it fun. Yeah it wasn’t legendary like the other Battlefields but I had a lot of fun playing it while it lasted.
The problem is and this is coming from a bf fan. Cod copies the battlefield and makes it feel and look good. Now that the other way around EA makes the game worse like they didn't take the good from past titles they just tried to reinvent the wheel and went with the trend of apex and cod.
That explains why i found MW2's campaign extremely underwhelming
I find it kind of funny that CoD has been copying all the good things about BF and BF has been copying all the bad ones from CoD 🤦🏻 DICE has fallen from grace...
Hardline had great gunplay, great maps, hilarious voice lines, awesome customization, and pretty damn good progression. It's sad that people trashed on the game for the dumbest reasons and had copy paste "criticisms" based off the media and other KZheadrs. I would love a sequel for this game, it was definitely a fairly unique experience for a Triple-A game.
I never played Hardline because I've only played 4, (didn't like them going back in time so far) but it looks like a really fun game, and I can see the similarities between it and the new CoD!

@@KurianfromIndia Yea and that's your 2 bias ass cents.. My 2 cents are.. Mw2 is holding down the fort pretty well for me compared to battlefield 2042 and that's my 2 sad ass cents.. Doesn't matter what you say about the game being ass it's still generating a shit ton of money for greedy Activision and keeping a high player base for a garbage ass game..
What separates the two is how the guns handle and how loose cod feels in its movement .. battlefield is sluggish in comparison. Cods arcadey feel is what players enjoy , zombies as tired as we all are of it by now is something that will still sell it for many players . Its faced paced fun ! Killing floor 2 has the same appeal but again its sluggish in its movement in comparison. Sony's killzone would be a masterclass shooter if they could just make the game feel quick and snappy like cod . Battlefield is trying to be both realistic and arcade with 2042 but on console anyway it just feels sluggish in comparison to cod ..
