Video presented by EA Creator Network (unpaid, provided early access). Battlefield 2042's season 7 "Turning Point" launches March 9th. Today, I'm looking at all the new weapons (AK5C, SCZ3, SRAW) and other gear arriving alongside the new Haven map, set in the Atacama Desert.

The C4 change is a welcome one as the Engineer class in Battlefield should always be the go-to direct counter against vehicles. Not flying squirrel woman or discount spider man using the grappling hook from Battlefield Hardline. Edit: The lack of M4A1 (BF3 full auto monster) or M4 (BF4 3-round burst skill cannon) is still exceptionally *disappointing*
I normally call Discount Spider Man “Zip Zorp” The -C4- C5 change makes 100% sense

I played so much of the beta on that map and had so much fun!!! Never got the game tho cuz i didnt have anything to play it on

I'm glad they are understanding how to make good maps, albeit this battlefield is a lost cause, the next one has the potential to be much better.
The next one has to be better and nothing short of it. This was the worst battlefield to launch, the bar is so damn low If Dice fucks up the next game I’ll consider it the last nail in the coffin.
The Map is good yeah oldskool BF so nice to see again . There's some hope for the next BF, and Kill Cam must be included in todays world.. but the Finals have brought some fun back to gaming i hope Dice are taking notes...

Got 2042 for $10 in season 6. I enjoy the game a good bit now. Might be worth $10.10 after season 7
Me too. It was abysmal at launch. I had a 10 hour trial and didn’t even finish that until a couple of weeks ago when I went back to it.
What controller settings do you use? Very smooth gameplay here

Imho i like the new map just needed like an underground path anywhere in the map or more buildings to go inside
I really hope they will support the game fully until may 2025. I personally would want to see more BIG Quality of life changes. New options for controllers like Gyro aiming (most other games have it)

7:12 you hit the nail on the head with this, the long wait and the content for S7 is lacking(will say skins and playercards ect are not content)oh and would like to say that sadly i know people want more but in reality the closer we get to BF2025 the less content 2042 will get other then MTX focused events🙁

I can get begind some of 2042's stuff, it's kinda a chill game now. Not worth the money I paid, but still chill. Bummer that all the OP season 6 stuff won't be OP anymore though, the Hellion/VHS was fun

Just bring back Obliteration 16v16. Best game mode by far. We have 2 NA servers which alternate between DLCs and Vanilla. (PS4/5) Full server nightly. Most of us [OBLT] have been playing that mode for 6+ years. The team play and strategy is unmatched with anything DICE has created. I am (I think) the current world record holder for "bomb delivery ribbons" with 2,568 ribbons. (You get 1 for each bomb delivered). Come detonate with us! The team play is amazing!
Oblit has always been a fav of mine. Pretty sure I’ve played in that server on ps before. But I’m just burnt out on battlefield now. Go back and try to play and it’s just meh now.

For 9 bucks on EA, it’s worth playing.
If 2042 had looked more like this from the start I'd have gone for it... still glad I skipped this one though.
I'd say it's worth getting on a good sale. On playstation I've seen it go as low at $15
Give us dedicated community servers. Give us destruction. Give us the old style Battlefield. Also: Get rid of the AI bots.

Assault class still brings nothing to the teamwork table. I fear good heli pilots will wreak hell on haven to everyone's annoyance. Not impressed.
It looks good like a return to BF form... until you see hero-like 2042 Specialists running around. :-/
Redacted was my favorite BF map ever so this is a huge disappointment. But at least I can play angel on it.

Looks fun but after playing games with better weapon/gear unlocking like The Finals and Helldivers I just can't go back and grind out 2042 for 2 months just to get to tier 68 just so I can play with new weapon. I'm not buying tier skips kiss my ass EA. Find a better progression system because this one makes me stop playing your game entirely.
I think it’s skewed from being able to grind AI only games. It’s dumb, but I’ve found 2 rounds of solo redacted conquest with easy AI will unlock almost every attachment on most guns.

Haven is really pretty lame. Squint and it's Noshahr Canals. Like they copy and pasted it.
Best lol this map is fucking horrible , and they limited the teams to 1 tank and 1 chopper each , this is what happens when you let an ex cod developer have the reigns to a battlefield game he starts turning it into call of trash

the moment i see the batman grapplehook, minigun you can deploy i just no, hell no! This is not Battlefield, but fortnite or cod..
Grapple hook was in Battlefield 2, mingun deploy is no different from the emplacements in older games...😊
@@ruhidmohamadYeah, it was in BF 2 expantion, remember that. But it fucks with the movement system in the direction of COD/Fortnite! And that is not Battlefield.
Thanks for the video Flak! The map looks nice along with the weapons, but the lack of content is still such a turnoff for many players. On top of the fact we aren’t getting all of season 7 content on day 1 🫠
