Presented by EA Creator Network (unpaid) - Battlefield 2042 Season 7 arrives March 19th. Let's take a look at everything come with the new season of content, including the new maps, weapons, gadget, and vehicle.
DICE marketing shot themselves in the foot by announcing "stadium" as a new map. Technically its new for last gen players lol but we'd be free of a lot of complaining if they just said the stadium was coming back. Many people wanted it to.
I feel like too much of the community is arguing semantics. New for last gen = new map. New for 80-90% of players who either ignored the stadium because it was mostly irrelevant, didn’t play 128 conquest, or hated/skipped OG Hourglass = new map. Also the video clearly shows added areas and assets. The original couldn’t support 64 players all fighting in it.
Next BF you should be the in game announcer

I’m not sure why the devs waste so much time in the lore; it is the same friggin’ specialists wearing different uniforms. If we had default faceless soldiers then it would be more believable, but seeing the same guys over and over it’s stupid af.
Lore team and dev team are different.

I wish they were doing that. BF1 was the last BF game where it felt like the devs were taking lessons learned from the last game instead of restarting from scratch. Every issue effecting BF2042 launch (busted unlocks, lack of server browsers, lack of scoreboard, etc) was something that happened and was then fixed in BFV.

its releasing in oct 25. So i think, if they gonna test it, it will mostly around next year by this time.
Why did they have to go 124 players? Why not 84? They went for marketing instead of good gameplay.

I want them to add realistic skins not only make them by adding them it would increase the value of the battle pass and the amount of players willing to buying it which is what dice wants and badly needs these days.
I do wonder if we get anything from the vault weapons. They seem to be better than they used to be. Would love to have some get as much love as the new guns.

I'm glad that the stadium is coming back. Really, I am. But DICE should not have advertised it as new. Assuming that Season 8 happens, and they have something similar planned, they need to listen to the fact that the community is not happy at all about the misleading marketing
Id like to know what "community feedback" they got for Stadium other than "Why'd you get rid of it?!" or "Bring back Stadium!"
I always missed stadium since the re-works. Interesting, as I always though this would be a great stand alone map and my wish was realized!

Before Clicking: Season 7? Maybe I'll check this out and finally give the game a chance. About 3 minutes in: Still relying on "specialists" and the trailer is filled with over-the-top nonsense.. Nvm, I'm good. (fingers crossed for the next game though, I love Battlefield)
Specialists have been engraved since the game came out. Why would you think that would change now?
Maybe Angel should be the specialist that controls the stealth bomber drone, I've only got about 100 hrs in this game but I have yet to see a loadout crate or anyone on my squad deploying as Angel.

Not gonna lie I am actually genuinely surprised that 2042 has been able to stay going as long as it has. I mean look how quickly battlefield five imploded. Honestly, if we had to keep going with the high-tech stuff, I actually would like to go back to the world of 2142. Only this time we could do 2143.
The reason 2042 is still goin cause people keep buying MTX...EA is milking it as much as possible.

Soooo...let me see if I understand this. The new season features "two" new maps (actually, one being a remake/resize of previous map asset), some new weapons, and new vehicles. Included is the new Stealth Bomber. However, neither of the two new maps will allow play of this new stealth bomber. One is pretty much entirely inside an arena (stadium), and the other is too small for the new aircraft to debut. I literally laughed out loud at the irony of: We have a new aircraft coming this season that can't be played on either of the two new maps coming this season. Am I right in this? I think I am, but if I'm wrong, please correct me. Thanks.

I bought it recently for $9, I'd say that's a good deal for a game that at least had it's launch issues fixed and is in a better state now. I'm just not sure if I'll stick around. New maps don't really do anything for me if it's mixed in with a pool of already existing maps with no server browser to differieciate what map I'm picking. I really only spent the $9 to have the game randomly cycle me through maps with varierying player counts (low at times) so this isn't as engaging as launching BF4 and seeing tons of players on servers where is shows you the map, mode, and player count. I will say I do like the combat and the weapons so far, just wish DICE were able to put more into this game..
Skins are not content, EA killing this franchise slowly. 1 new map in S7 not 2. EA should be ashamed of themselves Trailer team always outdo themselves each time, don't pre order the next game folks and never forget.

It's unbelievable how bad skins are in this game Christmas/Mexican green? Devs lost grips with reality and they don't care Some people just don't understand they are defeated and there's no scape from the abyss they got themselves into
Content is good. Only problem is low content. Many are pissed to receive such a low content after 5 months wait.
The low amount of weapons upon release killed it for me. It was actually the most pathetic amount of weapons released in a AAA title I've ever seen. The fact that they held the portal weapons to only portal and didn't release them into the main game was also super disappointing..
I like what their doing! Waiting for the next battlefield!

Honestly as much as I love the combined arms warfare that the Battlefield series has promoted the next Bf game should just be infantry only, DICE clearly doesn't care about vehicle warfare or balances for them and the best maps in recent games have all been infantry focused maps. I'm just tired of getting excited to play in vehicles in the new BF games just to be let down knowing its still the same SUPER outdated vehicle combat and controls on maps that are the worst for that game.
God I'm so tired of being a BF fan Flak. It has been years since this franchise has made me happy.

They should have used differet, honest wording on the maps. It is not 2 new maps, their words. It's the same as all the previous seasons. 1 new map and 1 reworked map. How much is reworked, how much is new, is left for debate. It is still dishonest and a lie in my book. Rest of the content is the least amount of any season. This season was "sold" on the idea that while season 6 was way too long, and it would take 5 months to get the next one, it would have more content than before. Given the delay if weapons and vehicle, it actually has less. Least amount of content for the most time waited. Is it okay to complain about free content? Yes. They were misleading, lying, hyping up on a promise that they didn't fill. Something I've been thinking about is Portal. Almost as badly unutilized as the whole Hazard Zone, half thought of extraction mode. With Portal, we have server browser. Persistent servers. Probably could have voting for the next map. Community in game is something that has been abolished. There are no clans, platoons, community servers. Nothing.

Everything Wrong with Battlefield 2042 Player count way too big, affects gameplay Maps way to big they had to cut sections off and rework them to make them fun to play (Breakaway and Hourglass) Lack of maps Lack of maps with diverse vehicle gameplay No Naval gameplay Maps with little vertical gameplay Little Destruction (which makes a battlefield game) Too much focus on cartoon skins Drip feed content is literally drip fed Gameplay updates late into the games life What else am I missing???
Just remaster BF3 and make us all happy, enough of the BS

Personally I like the maps for the most part but I enjoy the large maps in general. However, they just don't feel as immersive as say Panzerfaust did to me and you can be killed at 100 different angles at any time in all of them.
@@Eric-qx1kx For me it depends on the mode. I can not stand maps like Discarded and Hourglass on Conquest but nearly every map is manageable on Breakthrough despite attacker to defender balance being stupidly unfair on a lot of them. Stranded, Reclaimed, Spearhead and Flashpoint are the only maps I can stand on Conquest.
@@Nitroh- Overall I like Renewal but if your spawn point is on the desert side, enemy ace pilots can farm the spawn point and there isn't much you can do as those solar panels don't provide any cover.
tbh we complained so much about the launch maps that they didn't have resources to remake them and also create new ones. so its their fault but at the same time we shouldn't have been expecting much after that disaster.

Battlefield has lost its way, used to be great squad based game! It has caught the woke bug, also the custom skins, etc. seeing some of the custom skins just take me out of the game. Lets do a 2245
Bro , look at the trailer , its so shitty , loooks like a downgrad from a COD trailer , this game is not worth covering , there is no BF left more. This is a COD clone... i'm playing MW2 DMZ and having much more fun then the last 2 BF games...
I just can't with EA and Dice anymore. The fact they think rework maps are new then you drop the stadium a part of the hourglass that they removed. I feel like they have zero idea for maps and need to bring in maps that they took out of reworks and call it a new map. I feel they should have pulled the plug they just keep letting down the hardcore fans of the franchise. Never have we had two years of rework maps or maps that were taken from the original map. Oh free weekend again to try to bring players into the game..how many free weekends is that now I believe three. They get a boost of players but in reality they drop just as fast cause the game is mediocre at best.

Like your content but had to downvote for promoting the proven false claim of "2" new maps. Removing then readding a section of a launch map 2 years later isn't adding a new map.

Technically though it is cause it's its own map, even being a cut section of Hourglass it was never its own thing until now. But I do agree that advertising it as a "new" map was not how DICE should have done it.
