@craigc.7033 I've got a boat....I also have to spend too many days in the office... or I'll have a crooked ex-wife too. It would be great to be able to take 3 or 4 days for a trip to the Bahamas. Unfortunately my boat is a t top so I'd have to get a room when I get there. I'll be getting a Parker pilot house next time I buy. Parker should be paying Cap for these vids.. These videos sold me on the boat 100%.

Hi Capt.... Thank you for another great video! This is a super anchorage you found. You're protected 270 degrees, and like you showed, you can anchor on the other side with opposite winds.... Love the drone shots and fishing parts too!

@@OutOnTheReef I found a bunch on Amazon. I think it's a necessary safety item to see when you're being overtaken since you probably can't hear the other vessel because of your own motor sound. Once again, you improved my life.

Fish and eggs makes an excellent breakfast, addition of grits or potatoes are a plus. Snook was my first breakfast fish. Great fishing for you again.

When balancing your boat so it doesn’t have a starboard list, maybe place your cooler to the port, as step one. Then weigh the items that you added to a neutral bouncy, this is called a weights and moments calculation, when i did military naval vessels. Then move the items as best to center or the side that rocks to the high side. You will also get better mileage since the boat will ride smoother on the chines. Just a couple of suggestions…you can do it. This is easier than figuring out the magnet trick for the shark avoidance.
You're right, captain. I need to put some more thoughts into fixing this issue. The only problem is the exhaust of the air conditioning is in the portside. And if you're put the cooler there, it will melt the ice by heating it up. I've been thinking about this for days already but thank you. I will look into it, captain. Thank you for your suggestion.

Hey Cap! Another great video. Your experience with the magnets is that they do help then? I've never used them, because I figured it was a bunch of bs, but maybe it's worth it? These last 3 videos have been amazing, I'm a couple hours north of you so I usually head to the abacos and grand bahama. Maybe I'll run down to Cat Cay next time I'm across the gulf stream.
Yes, captain the magnet. I see that it works. Any strong magnet may work for you too. You just need to try it in my case. I saw great results and hopefully you can visit cat Kay It's in a amazing place even if you see it from the outside.Thanks for watching captain

Capt Crooked, you can get a adapter that you drop in the rod holder it is stainless and makes your rod holder a swivel rod holder the piece heavy so should hold up for a long time mine are about 8 yrs old. Tie some fishing line on it so you be can get it out JT

Hey Capt. Awesome fishing this trip. Back when Amazon let you list your items you had the magnets you made the shark deterrent out of. I would like to try that here out of Canaveral. Can you tell me what size magnets you used? Thanks.

Hi Capt., such a great vidoe as always. I have a question. Lets say you got in a big trouble in (hope not) Bahamain Waters. A life threatening problem and you defenitely have to use the ACR Locator Beacon on you. Who is gonna come to rescue you? Bahamian Cost Guard or US Cost Guard.
That is a great question, captain, but it's alerted to all the authorities nearby. I think, but that's a great question.
Yo yo, some friendly advice that’s bugged me a tad. You tell “PROP CLEAR” however the saying is CLEAR PROP. Prop clear indicates the prop is clear of debris or people. Yelling clear prop is a warning to surrounding individuals that the boat is going to be starting its engine and the prop will be turning hence clear prop. Love the content my man!

How big is that cooler? You loaded it up last video with numerous fish, Cap. I have a question about "balance" on the CPH. I've noticed the helm with you, the cooler and now the generator on the starboard side of the boat along with the deep cycle batteries, the fridge and icemaker. In addition, the prop turns to the right which the torque will cause a starboard side "lean". Other than the A/C unit and the Minnkota, what is on the port side? That Grouper looked amazing, well done.
Yes, captain.The mincola batteries are on the left hand side.The air conditioning and also the nicotta motor on the left hand side.But you have touch a very important point I have a lot of weight on the right handside of the boat, but there's nothing I can do to shift that way, captain because the air conditioner event is on the other side so I will hit the cooler and heat up the cooler with the heat . So if you have a suggestion for me on how to solve this issue i'm all ears captain thank you so much for your observation👍👍👍 I know you may say get a bigger boat LO. L.
And plus the pilothouse is Crooked to that sode it dosent help🤣
@@OutOnTheReef While watching I remembered the A/C vent on the port side and also you freshwater outlet on the port side which both would be an issue for your cooler. No need for a bigger boat.
