I have the same exact problem with my 2022 etron GT RS. I have tried your hack using booster cables, tried two different battery jumpers but I cannot get the frunk latch to open. Is there some special, additional treatment needed for the etron??

Thanks for the great info. Had the same issue with my etron gt. Searched everywhere for this video. Can’t believe that Audi and Porsche were so stupid not to have a manual release for the frunk to make this problem so much easier. Thanks again for the tip.

Why do you think GB150 failed to open the frunk on this attempt but on the other vlog it worked? I am guessing, for assurance the GB70 is the way to go - even of its leas power amps compared to the GB150. As an aside - i had this exact problem and what a faff this becomes - so investing in one of these is worthwhile

I never had the Hulkman, so I can't speak on that. Buying two boxes for one job does suck, so idk. I do this gorgeous a living so I have a few. My GB70 just took a shit the other day. Was like two years old. They all suck, but in my opinion NOCO is the best.

Great video as most ev owners don’t realise they have a standard 12v battery that can go flat if left. I’m with you buddy a “TayCan” not Taycarn

I have the same problem with my Taycan. I got the GB70, but when it connect it as described in this video, the "reverse polarity" warning light on the GB70 turns on. Any idea why?

Add more power. It does that because it isn't picking up enough volts. Usually that only happens with my GB150

If the car is locked when the 12V battery dies how do you get into the car or open the frunk?

Not sure most likely you will need to call roadside and have someone unlock it with tools. Unless there is a metal key. In that case their will be a keyhole under a plastic cover on the driver's side handle. Thanks for watching.
