He is standing on a moon shaped platform so he does not move around it is too narrow to do his moves so he mostly stands still which moves us to yet another level of appreciation ~but he is "DIMASH" so his voice is enough. He also is not a "PARTY GUY" he does not nor ever has he drank any alcohol nor does he waste his time ~always producing in his head but loves his friends and Dears. A Cameraman who makes his living shooting film of concerts, back stage, during rehearsals, etc. who got to know him so well he quit shooting film, & just hung out with Dimash as a friend/buddy ~ goes to show how likable, fun (he loves pranks or making faces at cameras when they in dressing rooms or air ports) & Loves his family /friends, Country & his music. How many singers EVER recognize at concerts thank or recognize dancers, background singers, band, Maestro, etc. by name? No one I have ever seen. He is just humble and was raised with top grade manners & never forgets his manners.

This son was written especially for Dimash by Igor Krutoy, a Russian composer who came out of retirement to compose songs for Dimash! He sang it at the European Games in 2020. 😊

Not only is his voice mind blowing but he is a humble guy, never taking credit for his talent. One of his best is a song also written by Igor called Know. He does it with lyrics at New Wave. Then he honestly takes it to a whole different level in both New York and in Kiev where he simply sits flat on his bum and vocalizes the song, differently both times of course. That being said, you have not seen the depth of Dimash until you do some of his traditional Kazakh songs, Daididau from Bastau is absolutely amazing. Not only because you see him play the Dombra, but it is in front of over 40k people in his home country. At the beginning of his singing you will see him take out his inner ear piece and point to it. They are not working. He literally takes them both out and continues to sing the entire song flawlessly. The emotion at the end of the song is will give you just a peek at how much it means to him to perform and make his country proud. He also performed the song in New York and it was the highlight of the evening because the fan cam version, a really good one, caught every emotion on his face, the tears he had as he realized his dream of bringing his culture here in a sold out Barclays arena. A night I long to repeat.

I might have explained this to you before. I KNOW I have explained to other reactors. If I have said it to you before, then never mind (my memory is shot and I constantly mix up who I have said what to). :P Dimash's parents are both famous singers in Kazakhstan; his Mom is a brilliant Opera singer and his Dad is a Pop singer and producer. Dimash started going to music schooling when he was five years old. He was literally born into music and so, he has done this his entire life. With ALL of those adults around him who know exactly what they are doing with vocals, they made SURE to protect Dimash's voice when he hit puberty. He thus got to keep his Choir Boy voice when he went through, and then he managed to come out the other side as a Baritone. Of course all of this took work on his part as well as for the adults. But LOOK, or LISTEN to what we got because of all of their diligent efforts! :)

The name of this song is not Olimpico, that is the place where it was sung. The name is Ogni Pietra and it is in Italian. It was composed specially for him and his extraordinary range by Igor Krutoy, for the overture of some Asian Olympic Games.
Igor Krutoy wrote this song for Dimash and his 6+ octaves.

I loved this one, the first time I heard it my sister, who's also a big Dimash fan, played it for me in the car on her phone but I was driving so I couldn't see the video and when he started that second verse in the higher range I was like, oh who's that singing with him lol. I should have known, knowing Dimash and having heard so many of his songs before, that he would obviously be doing both parts but it just sounded so much like two people I couldn't believe it lol! I have also learned that it really doesn't matter how many times you hear him, you will still be shocked every single time at his amazing talent! If I had to pick one thing that I might would complain just slightly about in this video, it would be that I wish you could hear the choir that is singing behind him a little better. You can hear them just barely in some of the parts where they are singing and Dimash isn't but they're still just barely audible even then and when he is also singing it is difficult to hear them at all, at least it was for me, maybe I just need a new set of headphones or something lol. But I love choirs like that and I think that Dimash backed by a choir is probably the greatest thing ever so I just wished that they could be heard a little more.
