  • If you follow his journey since the singer 2017 you'll know that dimash often drops on his knees while singing like it was nothing. Since the singer was a competition by invitation only for professional singers and broadcasted live, there's no way he's lip syncing. That's why dears in China gave him knee pads because they were worried he might injured his knees because of that habbit.

  • It is completely out of the ordinary how Dimash Qudaibergen manages to convey extremely different emotions by singing almost exactly the same lyrics but using a different dynamic, a different key, a different timbre and different sound production techniques! He begins with the shyness and doubt of a stranger who enters a territory totally foreign to him (when he plays the piano and with sounds surrounded by breath), moves on to the desire to try his strength to achieve a new beginning in life (then when he achieves that magnificent passage through the whole spectrum of his vocal rank using very different techniques of singing on each register) and reaches the end to have the power of the winning hero who not only tried, not only fought but finally defeated (when he shows us the power of his belting and that high and super long note of 20 seconds)! I only scored 3 moments, but they were more because between the choruses there were 2 slightly different moments of storytelling, but both in its register below the bass-baritone and there was another chorus (in total there were 4 choruses and two slightly more parts of the story, all in different dynamics, different keys and very different vocal techniques performed impeccably from a technical point of view, but also with strong emotional effects in the sense of impressive and maximum effect on the audience that practically listened to the whole song almost hypnotized)! For me it was the perfect song of the moment and it was a sublime demonstration of how much Dimash Qudaibergen can still progress even though it is already far beyond his contemporaries ! In this song he covered from C2 to F6 !

  • Dimash drops to his knees, skips, etc. but he always keeps his head alignment and never loses his voice. He does it in Hello, Your Love, War and Peace (2021 digital), Adagio, Confessa, Daybreak (Bastau), and that’s just off the top of my head. Multiple vocal coaches have demonstrated how this works, and why it’s effective for keeping his vocal cords loose and transferring tension. So lucky for you, you get to learn something new :) A Canadian Dear 🦌🇨🇦💜🇰🇿

  • With beautiful chords from the “KOBYZ” (a two-string Kazakh instrument), Dimash give us a high level of mastery and perfection of his voice. He runs through 5 octaves (C2-F6) soft, DEEP, high, modulations and beautiful melismas to finish on a sustained note of madness in 19.52 seconds (F#5)…..Greetings from a Mexican Dear! 👏🏻❤️🇲🇽🇰🇿

  • His voice never jumps when he falls on his knees, because (firstly) he keeps the right air tension in his singing, or the fall is integrated into the phrasing, and also (secondly) he falls to his knees in an appropriate way "flat" - see "Adagio "in The Singer (they treated his knees after that, there were also videos of backstage when he is just lying down because he cannot walk) or" Swow must go on "also with The Singer. When asked about these lows, Dimash replies that he has such tension in singing that he doesn't feel them. Besides, there is also something like stage technique. However, when he jumps / dances he does it to the rhythm and with his phenomenally mastered art of breathing, you cannot hear his voice jumps when jumping / dancing (but you can see at the end of the song how tired he is - e.g. with Give me your love), or - like on the premiere performance of Your love (March 2020), when he happily jumps up during the song - slight hesitations in his voice are part of his emotions. He's just a great artist.

    • Я не исключаю, что в данном случае используется студийная запись. Не возможно сделать такие резкие движения и чтобы голос не шелохнулся.

      @ytub_dermo@ytub_dermo2 жыл бұрын
    • @@ytub_dermo его учитель Марат Айтимов объяснил для чего это делается, применяется определённая поза, чтобы издать тот звук, в той октаве и той мощности. Многие даже педагоги не знают для чего он падает на колени, что было неоднократно даже на тех выступлениях, которые не могут вызывать сомнения, это Сингер с Адажио и Wold Best, на котором был сырой звук, даже без эхо и температурой 39 у Димаша. Одни даже писали, что подметает пыль на полу. Вы представляете уровень тех педагогов и уровень школы Марата Айтимова. Он даёт эту ноту и специально падает, чтобы её прибить, он никогда не теряет при этом качество, на Бастау в песне Дайбрейк он делает это в прыжке, то есть подпрыгивает и падает. И это 2017 год, а на дворе 2022. Его долго будут изучать. Но я считаю просто тот дар, что он получил он просто развевает и работает круглосуточно. А другие просто поют. Они же не развивают свой талант. У него другие цели, ему интересно этим заниматься.

  • The traditional instrument is Kobyz, and no it is not playback or auto tune. Dimash sang this 100% live and he drops to his knees ALL OF THE TIME while singing live. Everyone saw that multiple times in 2017 'The Singer' show that was live. Also, this is again a composition by Igor Krutoy (at the piano). When they work together it is magic.

    • Yes, Dimash does not do these types of things. I saw that a certain reactor that is famous for working with big names in the industry from Streisand to MJ to Groban, etc. said he thought that Dimash was lip-syncing! But he did say that he needed to see more of his live performances to get a better opinion too. I think that this guy has seen too much performers do it that he groups Dimash automatically in with the others.

It sounds to me like a trip of a lifetime in a stranger's land.😱 He has this habit of dropping to his knee when he is into the song and yap...his voice never crack nor falter any notes from his voice. His breath control is unsurpassed and out of this world..🥰i really enjoyed your reaction and ohh..i love your voice and song in your intro..💖 dear from canada

  • I think this song "Stranger" is epochal in three ways: 1) brilliant music; 2) brilliant meaning; 3) brilliant singing of Dimash. One blogger so deciphered the scenery on the screen. He said: «I like everything about the play. It has some kind of gloomy sound that matches the lighting and the setting on stage. He is justifiably present in the play, especially with the choir. Singers in the choir are dressed almost like druids in black robes. Behind them is this little spherical galaxy on the screen that is moving. And it seems to represent the endless journey of the World forward in a spiral. Wow!». Beautifully said. This blogger, like you, said: «THERE IS NOTHING THAT DIMASH COULD NOT DO FROM A VOCAL POINT OF VIEW. In this song, we have a full range - from top to bottom.».

It seems to me that Dimash is also one of life's 'determined to win' individuals because everything he does from sports to his amazing vocal gymnastics he is won't stop until he's nailed it & he excels at it! • I don't think I'd have the guts to sing anything when verturing into a reaction to Dimash 😂 Good for you 😁 His mom said that even late teenage years he already has a full voice range of 4.5 octaves. Don't feel bad 😉 Dimash would love your charity work, especially with kids. There you have something in common. He donates a lot of money but doesn't like being given credit for it.

  • Dimash is very sporty and he says that to be able to sing you must also work on your body to make sure it's in peak efficiency. He swims, rides, plays soccer, tennis, and other sports. He did 4 years of Taekwondo to red belt before having to stop due to a health problem. He works out in his home gym or hotel gym and he has worked on his diaphragm strength, and lung capacity. He has been throwing himself down on stages and dancing for years so he has built up enough strength to be able to sing through anything. He has been laying on the stage reaching for fans hands and singing perfectly at his concerts, he is always jumping really high and still singing on landing. He is just incredible and it's all live. He has said in an interview from the BBC in Londin after his 2018 concert that he has longer vocal chords due to his height and genetics, he is 6ft 3. So with him being a prodigy and starting musical education and performing at 5, then turning professional at 16 in 2010 he has already had a long career while all the time being in higher education, at present he is studying for his PhD in Musicology. So Dr Qudaibergen PhD will be his goal then maybe he will teach as well as carry on with his career if he can fit it all in. Dimash is back in China for at least 4 months with work on a tv project, I for one can't wait to watch it 😀

  • Dimash is a chosen one, I have no doubts about that. The proof is his vocal ability, his technical singing skills, the vast musical knowledge he possesses, and the passion he puts into every rendition, in every performance including rehearsals. He also has a great culture and is a person with the best human qualities that can be had. It's simply inexplicable. That's why I think he's a Gift from God since miracles have no explanation.

  • Nothing surprises me about this man anymore ... I divided him into 4 parts, knees, hips, shoulders and the top of his head ... he is without a doubt the best singer in the world today, whatever they say, think what they think, etc, etc ... the second in command in this world ranking man or woman is at knee level ... in my opinion the other three levels will remain empty for a long time.

LS has been used all the time for all the singers in the world, MJ, Sinatra, queen, madona, adele, everyone, is not a crime.

  • Thanks so much! Though I've been a Dear for more than 2 years already, he never ceases to amaze and surprise me, every - single - time! I mean, just in terms of technical ability, the song is astounding - lowest note C2, with chest voice in the bass register - highest note F6, a struggle for even female sopranos to hit! - and ending on an F#5, an extended rock belt that lasted at least half an hour, lol! But as you mentioned, it's his charisma on the stage, his presence and power and ability to *become* the song and the music that gives him that little extra something that just pulls you in, and peers into your soul - which in my case would only show the space where my share of talent was supposed to be, but was gifted to Dimash instead, lol! But hey, he puts it to far better use than I ever could - and I'd owe him twice as much and more, for all the happiness he gifts my heart in return! I could honestly cry sometimes, I just love him that much - which would be cringe enough if I were a besotted teenager, and not some daft old middle-aged woman who can't get through the day without her dose of Vitamin D(imash)! But anyways - thanks again my friend, for your reaction/analysis to my favourite ever performance from our beloved Kazakh prince, even if it DID take me a very confusing minute to finally recognise you without the face furniture! - and take care :) 🤗💕

  • Just wanted to add that after Adagio he appears to have found a better way than throwing himself down to his knees, he seems to curve backwards and use more muscle to control the fall. There was a photo shoot after Adagio where the photographer pushed his leg down and he yelped in pain. Hopefully over the years he's learned he does not want an early knee replacement op.

  • Thank you for explaining so well how difficult it is to interpret as Dimash does because there are many who think that singing is easy and that if it goes wrong you add the autotune that fixes everything. In the case of Dimash, he has been studying since he was 5 years old and preparing to develop his career with the highest standards. That is why he does not speed up his processes. He slowly advances at a safe pace and surrounds himself with the best people to accompany him on this difficult but fascinating journey that he undertook. This song was composed by the Russian musician Igor Krutoy (music) and the American poet Sharon Vaughn (lyrics). Dimash added the sound of the string instrument that starts the song, called Kobyz and who plays it is the musician Olzhas Qurmanbek (kasakh). The arrangements were in charge of Dimitris Kontopoulus (Greek) and Yerlan Beckchurin (kasakh).
