EVERTON 1-0 BURNLEY | Sean Dyche's post-match press conference
Dominic Calvert-Lewin grabbed his second goal in as many matches to help Everton secure a crucial 1-0 Premier League victory over Burnley at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
The decisive goal came on the stroke of half-time when Everton's No.9 charged down an attempted clearance from Burnley goalkeeper Arijanet Muric, the ball then rebounded into the Park End net, ultimately helping bring an end to the Blues' 13-game winless run in the league.

Burnley fan here. This was a poor game from both sides. I want to comment about Sean's comments. when he was with Burnley he always talked about how VAR and the refs were against us especialy mentioning that Burnley was a small town battling against the odds. Here he is again with a bigger club banging the same drum. I also do not with him that Everton dominated the game. Everton won the game because of a real stupid mistake of the goal keeper

@@ian9805 No way he could play his style of football with the current Burnley side, which has been built on youth and intent to play on the ball. Kompany has been undone by recruitment at the club. Far too many changes from the team that romped the Championship last season.

DCL is not getting enough credit for his goal. He did what we expect from a top striker. Pressuring the keeper and closing him down. Sure, the keeper made an error, but Dom was there to capitalise. Good goal. Take a bow Dom 👍

Stop swapping like for like in strikers. Have 2 on the pitch for defence or attack an hold up. By all means you can start with 1 striker but Doucs should be withdrawn and a striker drops into his position. We play too passive and defensive. Stop playing young, his legs have gone and isn't up to pace for the prem anymore. We need pace in the team badly.

Playing with sore muscles could lead to injury then people like you will complain why we don't rotate. Also, if your wife is about to deliver - will you take a day off work and be by her side or go to work?
