And that must be terrifying for any opponent he faces, watching him eat punches and keep walking you down like it's nothing. Eddie clearly had the crisper boxing skills but mike just wouldnt go down. I didnt hear why eddies corner threw the towel in, i think his eye was closing or something but i think eddie also gave up or his corner decided this maniac isnt worth my fighters health

  • I met mike perry the day after Freakshow (wrestling tournament) in vegas. I was in a wheelchair that day and instantly noticed him. Jean shorts, designer t-shirt and UFC snapback. Went up to him with my mother and asked for a picture, we talked to him for a little about his upcoming fight in the Apex, etc. Super cool guy, the picture we took was blurry and i told my mom it was fine but she ran me back over to him and his GF to get another and he started laughing when he saw us. Said my mom could've just called him over🤣 He's a real one. I really feel like no one can hate this man if they met him.

  • The main thing holding Mike back from that status is his 7-8 record in the UFC combined with the fact Bare Knuckle isn’t nearly as talent stacked or competitive as MMA. Plus of course it being more limited than MMA in much more ways that it is freeing. He is without a doubt a savage and he will definitely be remembered as such.

  • Got to have hands of stone. I remember Wanderlei I saw one of his bare knuckle fights from along time ago. Wanderlei is a very tough person even he at one point his hands were all covered in blood and him and his opponent both just could not bring themselves to hit eachother anymore as their hands were destroyed.

  • In order for Mike Perry to be the baddass MF, he needs to make all other fighter fear him or fear of being hit by him which is a hard feat. Mike Tyson had other heavy weight fighter scared of being hit by him and even avoid fighting him.   • Ive studied self defense and such for 30 + years in the few real fights ive had there was only one 1 on 1 fight. All the rest were usually standjng up to some bully type jerk then his friends jumping in. Id never competed in any spirt type fighting i would get killed or disqualified of rules were invovlver

    • ​@JeromePowerrr which is why I said self defense, I've studied boxing, one instructor was a marine hand to hand combat specialist, my father since the age of about 4 taught me how to punch without getting hurt. It wasn't just martial arts it was knowing how to assess a situation and use the best technique to survive said situation. Sometimes one punch would work sometimes you need to pull a person's eye out. Every situation is different

  • Dude I can’t even watch bare knuckle. I love MMA but that shit is so beyond brutal. You see people after a fight just absolutely brutalized.

    • Most of it is just cuts and swelling though. Faces contain lots of blood and so recover fast I do have to admit though, a broken nose can get pretty nasty
