That's why Storm is second in command after Cyclops, she got the wisdom to complement Scott's pragmatic nature.
She used to be the co-leader when the X-men #1 comics had the Blue and Gold teams. Storm was the leader of Team Gold and had Jean Grey in her team. As well as Colossus, Iceman, Archangel, and Bishop Cyclops was the leader of Team Blue and had Wolverine, Psylocke, Beast, Rogue, Gambit, and Jubilee.

Storm's honestly the best leader the X-Men have had. She has the best skill and mindset to have leadership.

i love storms charc but this scene is weird "you hoped he was gonna be human" umm storm hunny mutants are humans they just have powers.
Hearing Storm with her original voice actress is just perfect. Alison Sealy-Smith brings an air of elegance, wisdom, and refinement to Ororo.

This… this is one of the few adaptations that GETS IT with these two. In other ones, Jean and Storm barely interact at all. But this gets it.

Jennifer Hale is great as Jean Grey and this is like the third time she voiced the character. Edit: my bad fourth.
Facts, I honestly prefer Hale as Jean instead of Disher, Disher made Jean sound too robotic

They've been best friends in the comics for decades, but we haven't really gotten much one-on-one interaction with just the 2 of them in recent years. I'm hopeful of more sisterly moments between the 2 in this show. 3. I wonder how much this show is going to influence Storm's upcoming solo book... 🤔
In the very first episode of the original series Rogue and Storm were out shopping without Jean, and the joke was that they were tired of dealing with Jean’s endless drama so it’s nice they’re showing that they’re friends really 😂
I'm still hoping for some of them Storm speeches when she uses her powers. Classic!
Storm and Jean singing Toni Braxton at Krakoan Karaoke wasn't a moment? I'll cede the fact that we haven't gotten as many moments as we might like, to see them outside of their roles on Krakoa, but they've had some really beautiful sisterly moments over the past few years.
Always assumed storm and rouge were more closer in terms of friendship.

Storm and Jean's relationship in the comics is so much deeper than they've ever showed on any of the movies or tv shows. Nice to see them finally showing at least part of it here.

Well, it's about time they finally started to focus on Storm & Jean's friendship (since it's shown more in comics). The 90's era kinda made it seem like Storm & Rogue were BFFs, when that's supposed to be Storm & Jean's dynamic. Hopefully we'll get to see more interpersonal relationships, because that's what's always made X-Men my fav. comic.

I don't think a baby ever lost its heart in the womb, but that'd be an interesting idea for Kingdom Hearts 4...not sure what it has to do with X-Man tho

Love seeing the comradery and friendship between Storm and Jean. I can image the fear of persecution from the world must be terrifying for Jean and Im really happy Storm and the other members are there to comfort her with said fears. So sweet❤️😊
FYI, Storm was Jean’s maid of honor at her wedding.

Real character depth here. Jean thinking about real world issues that her unborn child may have to contend with, mutant or not. This is what made the OG so good. Tackling real, mature themes.

I love how every segment of X-Men can be applied to some marginalized group, but this one especially focuses on black parenthood, definitely. Especially with Ororo being the one to help Jean understand the reality of the situation and how to handle it.

That's only in an alternate timeline of Age of Apocalypse in the comics. But in X-men TAS they used the mohawk and Storm-Wolverine thing in the Days of Future Past episodes instead.

i was 5 years old when i used to watch it here in India, I loved how Storm and Magento teamed up in the 2nd episode, Reminded me of the A.X.E. (Judgement Day) event where they fought against Thanos's Uncle. Storm, Gambit and Jubilee, I predict are gonna have a huge role in this era

Never understood why mutants held themselves apart from humans. They are human. Their parents were humans. They just have powers. Visually, the difference is imperceptible more often than not (unless you'rea morlock or Nightcrawler....or somethinglike that). On a gentic level, the difference is literally 1 extra gene.

"I've often wondered what it would be like to be human." You ARE human. Sadly, you've allowed anti-mutant rhetoric to make you dehumanize yourself in your own mind. That's... actually... really tragic, when you stop and think about it. That these characters who are clearly human, are so discriminated against that they internally dehumanize themselves even as they fight for their own right to exist and be treated equally by normal humans.

Jennifer does such a phenomenal job as Jean! Since MvC3 I have *loved* her as the Phoenix. She’s so intelligent, passionate, and creative when it comes to her voice roles. I can’t wait to see her become Phoenix and Dark Phoenix. Her version has to be one of my all time favorites alongside Famke
This Jean already went througth the Dark Phoenix saga.
