Dresser Box with Draw using Dovetails

This is a box I made for my granddaughter. It features dovetail joinery and a sliding removable tray for extra storage space.
The box was made using the Gifkins Dovetail jig gifkins.com.au/ and they have a great KZhead channel demoing all the features and tricks to get great results every time. www.youtube.com/@gifkinsdovet...

Timber is coachwood and walnut also sourced from Gifkins Dovetail.

  • looks gorgeous! Question, why are there "tags" or "lifts" on the felt?

    • Thank you. The felt is stuck to a secondary liner. The tap allows it to be lifted out if my granddaughter ever wants to change the colour or it gets damaged.
