Not sure I agree with the portrayal of the light coming down from the UFO looking like a waterfall. But then, maybe there is more than one type of transporter.

  • My brother who passed away 1 year tomorrow (1-8-21) was a huge fan of so many of Hans Zimmer's movie scores that I listen to them all the time to try and feel close to Sean. I can almost picture Sean listening to them and getting the sense of peacefulness and calm he must have felt from the music. My brother went through such tragedy and yet he had the biggest kindest heart. He loved to make people laugh, adored all animals and really connected to both people and animals. I think they could sense his gentle soul and spirit. The Dark Knight, The DaVinci Code and so many others are what I imagine him to have heard as he left this earth. I miss him so much and want people to know what a great human being Sean was. Hans Zimmer helps us to connect to the here and now, the imagined, the unimagined and what we hope we can connect to when we leave this earth. See you later Bud. Sissy loves you 💙💙💙💙💙

  • It's amazing how the right composer is capable of going beyond "beautiful". Objectively Chopin, Verdi, Williams or Shore (my favorite composers) and many others, make beautiful pieces but what Hans does is at another level. Man of steel makes you want to fly, to do good for the world. When you listen to Interstellar, you realize how little you are, you even begin to have an understanding of your place in the universe. The dark knight awakens your sense of justice and reinforce your morality. With Aurora you enter a lethargic state of mind. Gladiator makes you appreciate how beautiful life is when you fight for your loved ones. I could go on and on but my point is that Hans Zimmer is more than a composer, he's a man capable of truly reaching your soul through music, a true living legend.

    • I disagree. Hans' music is epic, but nowhere near the level of Chopin, Verdi, and the classics. He had the luxury of putting the music to amazing visuals. The classics didn't have this "crutch" and relied solely on the sounds.

  • Of all of Zimmer's music, "Time" from Inception will always be his best work to me. The depth of pure emotional power that descends on the mind during the ending crescendo is unlike any other musical work I've ever heard. Zimmer is a great musical mind, no doubt, but the simple crescendo/de-crescendo that is "Time" will always stand above his other works as the defining piece that proves that music is the physical embodiment of emotion.

  • Time will always be my favorite piece by Zimmer. There's just something about the somber hearttugging that it gives, especially for those of us who have lost our parents already, and know that there's no stopping the clock, or bringing back the love lost....but I can look forward to the day, that glorious day, when I will see my dad and mom again in everlasting peace. That's what this song is to me, so keep ticking time....I'm waiting.

    @jebbroham1776@jebbroham17763 жыл бұрын
    • That's exactly how I feel. I miss my mother with all my heart, but one day I will be with her again. Me and my dad with her again. But before then, we need to keep going. Life isn't the same, but it's not meant to remain the same. Why do our loved ones get snatched away from us? So we can stand on our own, prove to their spirits and ourselves, we are strong enough to continue life without them. We didn't ask to lose her, we didn't want to... but we can do it. After all, life is not just about living for yourself, but for those who can no longer experience the wonders and beauty of this Earth. It's our jobs to live life for them, until the day comes when we are together again. And then, only then, will your job here be done.

Everyone else seems to be nothing more than "ok" after hearing all of his work. Bravo

  • Everyone just needs to appreciate how this music is bigger than any human can be. The music takes so many people and is created to be so intimidatingly large. I get goosebumps just thinking about it!

  • When I listen to his music for Interstellar and Inception, I stare at the pitch black darkness of night outside my window and fall into a trance. The infinite expanse of space with endless mysteries that could fill my curiosity to its peak. Imagining the trillions of stars with planets orbiting them, and possibly another living being doing the same thing as me. Laying awake at night, wondering who else could be out there, amongst the stars.

  • I don´t know how he is doing it, but listening to the interstellar soundtrack, I really don´t even have to close my eyes I just see the universe. This is art moviemakers should apreciate a lot more. It truly can MAKE a Movie.
