Bonjour à tous, its back to work in the walled garden and fixing new problems. Tracy gets to work on rebuilding the top of the lower wall that had been damaged due to unwarranted trees ready to place the capping stones on, Terry deals with a section of the upper wall that had collapsed, rebuilding it back up stone by stone. Both these beautiful walls once welcomed the chateaux guests, approaching the original entrance by each level. Ash gets to work on tackling all the grass at the château with a new toy.

About us,
We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.
The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.
Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.

Like watching your work, the fabulous job on the top story and new kitchen which you must enjoy. And now that winter is over turning attention to the outside. Gr8 idea having the auto lawn mower. Wow! What a gr8 idea. Miss Tony he's a professional the way he did the cottage. It's beautiful. That wall looks fantastic! You cannot tell it was a repaired part it blends in well. Tracy doing the back breaking work and hard on her knees to do the stone it too looks amazing.
Now all you have to do is Tuckpointing all those stonewalls and they’ll be perfect for years to come

Great work on the wall rebuild, it looks fantastic. I have a hint for you too. When knocking the stone into place use a rubber mallet. It puts less force into the stone and stops it from breaking. I learnt that whilst teaching myself to pave and fix a retaining wall.
