The US/Australia map is showing how far south Australia is compared to how far north the US is. They moved Australias southern most bit just as close to the north pole as it is to the south pole.
Yep. Exactly. Australia is not even on the opposite side of the world, and if it were, that still wouldn’t make it upside down.
Jack: "I want two channels to hit 1 million on the same day" Also Jack: Uploads videos on the channel with 20k more subs so that he can hit 1 mil faster
Thanks to the 1972 set of the World Book Encyclopedia, I think I got a leg up on my fellow classmates in the subject of geography. I aced a trivia question after a weekly spelling test in fifth grade, with a number of questions involving geography. And I was the representative for my middle school as a 7th grader when the first Geography Bee was held in 1989.
The Mexican government recognizes 63 indigenous languages still spoken today, though there are about 350 dialects of those. Yes, there are Mayans speaking Tzotzil and other dialects of Mayan, and all of us use lots of Náhuatl (an Aztec language) vocabulary mixed with everyday Spanish, words like cacahuate, guajolote, elote, camote, tecolote, tlacuache, etc.
I think Belgium is so illuminated because they have a law which states that all roads must be lit at night and so their country is really visible on maps that show electricity use / light pollution
Same with the Netherlands
5:17 no context suggestion
It's happened
Guess what
3:12 if North Korea was there it would be 0%

The Australia/US map is amazing. Sydney lines right up with Los Angeles, and Cairns is near Atlanta. Tasmania is right around Salt Lake City.
Once again great video you never dissapoint us Jack!
Double s in dis*s*apoint Actual word is disappoint
I love ur video I watch them every day 😂
Amazing maps!!
yay this series is back
the reason the map of australia at 5:23 is upsidedown is because in australia, the more north you go, the hotter it gets. the map is basically conparing australias latituted to the usa's and mexicos latitude. that probably didnt help but anyway
AHH I JUST LOVE UR VIDS AND CANT WAIT WHEN U UPLOAD

This series is good
2:51 The US needs a giant asterisk on that map because while some states and the federal government allow the death penalty, other states have made it illegal. New York doesn’t allow it, which has made an interesting situation for the Buffalo shooter. He will be sitting in prison for the rest of his life anyway for state murder and terrorism as a hate crime charges (he’s already pled guilty to the entire indictment). But he’s still being charged with federal murder and hate crime charges, which could land him with the death penalty or serving another life in prison sentence. The whole death penalty issue gets really messy when state and federal governments charge for similar offenses related to the same crime but don’t agree on the death penalty.
Is it more humane to keep a human in an 8x10 cage for the rest of its life or to just kill it? Who are the barbarians?
The fact you say “it”
@@Aden_OriginalG Dance...
@@Aden_OriginalG yeah.
@@MyBelch your forgetting they committed crimes, also do you know how prison works
5:41 is actually a map of the thermohaline circulation. It's the long term deep ocean circulation that has major climate and weather effects.
6:53 Jack: Wow this is very interesting Me: *I don’t know how to code*
Who will win? Jack running out of words for this series or JackSucksAtStuff reaching 1 mil

I think I know what video tomorrow’s no context clip will be from 😂😂
I love the map videos
I've seen that Poland election results map compared to a German empire historical map as well. So I wonder if either (1) some natural feature of the landscape affects boars now and also affected the growth of empires in the past or if (2) different ruling powers of the past had policies which affected the environment in different ways. Or could be that partisan politics correlates with attitudes around hunting and deforestation.
3:44 i didn’t realize how common moving abroad was in bosnia & herzegovina until i met my english teacher who is bosnian. we live in the deep depths of north carolina so i’m curious as to how she decided upon here of all places.

Jack should do a ‘maps/flags I find flabbergasting’
2:35 fun fact. One region in Germany (I forgot where) has the death penalty still legal. But because it's forbidden in Germany it not possible for that region to use it if they wanted
ordered the merch!
That hand touching cracked me up. And can confirm, as argentinian, we do do that
Great vid

I have ever seen such a funny youtuber that for once isn't fuging American or Canadian
6:00 these 2 are also the shape of the old imperial german borders
Hey! A bit of information about death penalty in Brazil: It's legal IF the country is in a war. I found this very weird since for us the maximum jail time it's literally 30 years. Thanks for the video
Questions around the death penalty for me quickly get around to "what do you replace it with?" While there aren't very many of them, any society will sooner or later have some people who do thing so evil that there is no justification for *ever* allowing them back into free society (I'd describe such people, but using those words tends to get comments censored by KZhead). Is it any more human to put such people in prison for the rest of their lives? Or is that just death-penalty-by-old-age? That said, there are more than a few places where capital punishment is, IMHO, over used. Is there *any* question as to guilt? Might the perp have had a diminished mental capacity as a result of something fixable? Sure, lock them up "forever" and maybe change our mind later if circumstances change.
