I have also seen a few Takahe in my time. P.s they are highly endangered and only on pest free islands such as Kāpiti island and very rarely in the wild.

  • 2:10 Here in Europe we consider 4 hours travel 'way too far for a daytrip', while in Canada and the USA this is a totally acceptable it seems. • My grandparents used to have to drive 3 hours just to buy groceries (new clothes and such) for the kids. That's just the down journey, then they'd drive 3 hours back the same day to get home. In the Midwest, 1 hour's worth of travel is roughly 70 miles (1.6 km). In densely populated areas (typically coasts) 1 hour's worth of travel is less and probably closer to the distances you might expect in Europe.

  • "They're just blissfully unaware that I have to be on a train for like 4 hours." Either that or they don't think any thing of it. If I have a friend flying into Seattle for a week end, I'll take a bus up to hang out. I'm in Portland, Seattle is 3.5 hours north on a bus. It's just not that far to travel and really isn't a big deal. The pizza one is also wrong. Portland's pizza is pretty damn good. I was surprised when I traveled because I expected the pizza in chicago and new york to be next level amazing but no, it's not that much better. I think it's because pizza isn't the type of food portland is really known for. It's more known for food carts and more unique dishes.

There's some crazy border lines around Haldibari and Patgram in eastern India. That's a GeoWizard video waiting to happen.

  • In the "american states without AMERICA" part I had to pause to look but I love the fact that Massachusetts only loses a few letters compared to Maine which became N 😂😂😂. Sshustts. Like ur saying it with a severe lisp or while drunk n said the start too quietly to be considered part of what was said. Add an apostrophe before the letters n u could use that in a line of dialogue for a character. Example: He sat down with his 10th mug of beer n shouted, "hey, you from 'sshustts?" I think u see what I mean now 😂. As a writer, I approve of this map n thank it for inspiration for a funny drunk pronunciation of a long state name.
