Can u explain , I didn't understand
@@Saad-zx2me There are lights sticking up in the airport streets. These cause your car suspension to bump slightly and for cars that get alot of speed from curboosting like the Calico or Itali GTO this makes a big difference in both top speed and acceleration.
@@apaxtoa thank you for the explanation 😃
The technical answer would be that the bump makes the tire leave the ground, leaving the engine open for overrev, making the tire spin faster, giving a boost when the tire hits the ground back.
That and because he had low grip tires
Bought both cars straight away. Best choice for every scenario. I personally only keep vehicles I enjoy to use rather than just collect garage art. Love the content!
Yellow gtf was using low grip tires. Amazing for drifting and straight lines, useless for everything else. I've noticed that stanced or default with low grip tires are very similar. Though having it stanced on a completely flat surface such as the airport would be the best way to drag race. If you have default suspension with low grip tires it's more stable if you go around a corner but only a tiny bit. Your more than likely going to spin out if you don't brake way before the corner
Scotty Kilmer has a reason, a duty rather, to play gta online now.

@@mikedonald2018 it's not a glitch bro it's a game mechanic. Every car in GTA goes faster over bumps, but some cars get more of a benefit from them. The calico is one of those cars. The celica is hands down the best car Ive ever driven, you just gotta time your braking before turning
it drives like a Pfister Neon with even crazier acceleration and more traction
There seems to be some sort of handling glitch with either the new races or the calico itself. When you're in free roam it turns just fine, but sometimes when doing a race it will just refuse to turn. Maybe there's a new secret handicap system.
@@kikohogod5704 if I had to guess it's because your driving over more curbs and bumps during races. The same thing that speeds you up during acceleration, the bumps, also speed you up during braking.. essentially weakening your brakes by making you go faster when you want to slow down. This is seen in other cars that go fast over bumps, like the itali GTO
Yep I was already winning against modded cars with stock Calico lol Most corners I don't break, just slow down slightly before corner then accelerate at apex Nobody was keeping up through turns 🙂

Quick question. When you did the drag race with the pariah, did you just floor it off the line or did you try to launch it without wheel spin?
For me the choice would be the Jester. As a street racer I prefer a little more control over raw speed and the Jester looks better.
Jester sucks for racing

The pickup one that came out is so good
So in order to make the car glitch out do you only put on those mods or can you add transmission and other body works?
Speed glitch for calico, low grip tires and lowered stance, wouldnt recommend in races cus it would drift every corner so use it for fun or to show off, if you have a fully modded calico and know the shortcuts and are a good driver, its basically a guaranteed top 3

Bought the Supra. It suffers from understeering and wheelspin a lot, but handles slides much better than most cars in the game, while the top speed and acceleration all seem to be pretty decent.
Both are perfect for performance in racing
I bought the Jester because of the Calico's understeer. At least for street racing it seemed like the better choice for me. But i'm still waiting for Broughy's test, maybe i'll buy the Calico when he figured out how it works.
Great guide I was wondering what the best car in this update is
Usually one of the last ones after drip feed.
Just keep suspension stock on the calico steer with weight and if that doesn’t work since it’s a 4wd you can just brake and gas at the same time and slide around corners
All wheel drive doesn't necessarily increase speed, just acceleration
I have bought the Calico, and have tried the Jester RR. The Calico actually handles pretty well. The issue with understeer happens if you aren't careful with your throttle and braking and how you turn in. Doing the Time trial in the LS Car Meet I have managed a 54.17 and still room to improve. The Calico is a fickle beast that rewards those that treat it to its exacting standards. In other words, it is far from being a car for everyone. You have to know what you're doing to fully enjoy its capabilities.
Did you try the off road tyres on either?
I got the calico, max upgrade and lowered stancing and I dont think it is that fast, is it fixed?
if they fixed the steering and control on the Calico GTF, i might use it more... seems like it handles poorly compared to other cars from the Tuners DLC
i have a question about the engine and turbo tuning. when the acceleration of a car is already at its max, does it make sence to upgrade the engine and add turbo?
yes, performance increases despite the bar being full already
@@Srf227 good. so i've not been wasting tons of money xD
Your Jester looks badass
Did you put low grip tires? That makes the car go 200mph
which of all the cars in that dlc are the most bulletproof?
Drifting in the calico is fun but in races unless you time it perfectly, taking corners can screw you over. Multiple times i was in first then 1 or 2 corners messed me up and i was in last lol. But when i was in first the jester was right there and any time i took a corner wide, it would swoop in and pass me. Kinda pissed i didn't get the jester but at the same time the calico is my favorite car rn Edit: and that was with level 2 engine and level 2 trans, no turbo. Just put a turbo on it now and it's way better

And with the crash glitch you'll get above 150mph
I'm going to buy the Calico and the Dominator. Toyota Celica is one of the most expected cars in this game. And that new 69s Mustang looks lovely 😍
If it's rear wheel drive is it better than BMV, driving it was awful? It's a prefect shift point, not sure if it's possible out of racing event, but it could be he was watching his RPM. Are they trying to find where on a screen it is?
Does double clutch work for this car?
The yellow car had slick grip when you change tires in ls car meet
for an actual street race they are both pretty much equal in the standard stance but if you lower the calico yes it get a big straight line speed boost but it then handles like dogshit and understeers way more than default and get so unsettled over bumps.
Is it good at rallying or is it better on tarmac?
gran turismo music = immediate like
Sorta surprised me when I found out a Celica was the new fastest car in the game. but after some thought the Calico (Celica) had amazing acceleration when drove correctly and due to gta5's physic's loving fast acceleration it makes sense it would be the fastest car. chances of gta5 nerfing the Cailco are slim due to it actually having that kind of acceleration due to it being used for rally back in the 90's only reason I know this info is due to the fact I drive one irl but one thing i must say is mine isn't the same model mine is the FWD pop-up model but same body style just with pop ups and its a coupe. making it more like a fwd ae86 it feels like usually due to the 4afe engine and the ae86 having a 4age engine but the model in gta5 is clearly the gt4 model which honestly does kick butt with the AWD drive terrain.
Can you ask your friend what did he customize on the car

@@Nilvils85 yeah u can use the base calico but the other custom tuners will probably beat it
@@minhancao7847 yeah it's better to have it tuned but when you don't have money like me you need to use a stock Calico 😅
In real life rear wheel is better for handling than 4wd in most cases as heavy cars suffer understeer more rear wheel drive cars promotes oversteer, so depending on whether the track is corner heavy the understeer will outweigh the acceleration as the understeer will affect overall momentum better handling = better racing lines less crashing
So this is purely anecdotal and opinionated, but the Calico is a monster of the Tuners class. I only have experience with it and the ZR350 so far. I went into a street race with a stock Calico and the 2 best performers were in modded Jester RRs, catch up was on, and despite being wrecked 6 times by them and wrecking myself a few times with the ungodly understeer, I still finished 2nd about 3 seconds behind 1st. I bought and modded my own Calico, and with competition suspension, it got rid of a fair bit of oversteer, making it much nicer to drive. I am better than the average racer by far but nowhere near world record holder status or pro level. I started pulling off to the side and letting everyone pass, and I'd be back in the lead before the half way point. Stancing vehicles are good for top speed but not tracks/corners, that bottoming out will unsettle the car through the turn. That is some serious mad speed though.
So the question is, if I join a street race in the is car meet will I be able to use the calico
The Jester is awesome to the new races, I easily won with stock car against other moded. Also what is that car with glowing wheels and doors in vid? 4:30
Pariah
I got third place with a stock RT3K
I smoke everyone with the stock calico once I learn the track and can control the under steer
What's the name of this music 0:02
Put the low grip tires on the calico and it'll go even faster in a straight line
Did you slow down the audio or something ?
in real life a lot of awd cars suffer from understeer, especially the lancer evolution, there's a reason why a lot of rally drivers who drove awd cars would swing the car in corners. Even with all the tech advancements its really difficult to make a reliable awd without understeer. There's a reason why the mid/rear engine rwd design tends to be the most ideal when building a race or sports car, AWD isn't superior in all aspects to rwd and the majority of its advantages tends to come from traction, but that doesn't mean that it will result in better cornering.
The thing is that in GTA, cars are underpowered in terms of acceleration. So swinging the car before entering a corner will give worse results than anything else.
Ya know, I'm half expecting an "If the gta police used XXXX DLC vehicles" but cops are not welcome into the car meet
Fast and the furious garage exit when? Liked that scene with the trucks and all the cars piling out of the warehouse
