Allegations surfaced over the weekend that the Utah Women’s Basketball team faced racial abuse while staying in Coeur d’Alene for the NCAA Tournament.
I live here and am not surprised. It’s a very hateful place.

Well Coeur d'Alene this was just a temporary stay, not a permenant stay, your place can be on the DON'T GO HERE list. There are plenty of other places to visit and stay, you will eventually feel the effect of your racism. I will never, ever, go here again. Please people put this area on your Ban List.

I was born and raised here in Idaho and I'm sickend and ashamed that those ladies were treated in such a manner! Racism and hate should not be tolerated and I'm sad that it makes Idaho as a State look like we are all Racist. Im truly sorry that the Utah team had such a horrible experience 😢

Why shouldn’t CDA host teams, our businesses make money, our towns people earn money off the NCAA tournament? I simply can’t understand your attitude.
Any person has the absolute right to stay wherever they would like and expect that they will be safe and free of this type of behavior. We should not be questioning why they stayed in CDA, or why didn’t they pull out phones to record (trust me, there’s evidence). We should be questioning why this hate based behavior continues unchecked. Ol’ Hagadone will be feeling the consequences of this in his wallet for a while. The NCAA is powerful and wide reaching. The Utah team has players from across the country, who will go back and share their experiences with their circle of friends, and the dominoes will start falling.
