From MalaMala Game Reserve to wherever you are in the world, we'll bring you moments from our daily safaris in one of Africa's most iconic private game reserves. This is essentially a continuation of our 'Rangers in Isolation' series which was filmed during the national Lockdown.
Equally impressed with both the lions and the buffalos. They are all incredible living beings and deserve equal salute.
First time I see a lion surrounded by so much food and he declined the feast😂😂😂😂
It is always mayhem when lions and Buffalo come face to face and happy to see the Maxims male made it safely across the river. For these beautiful and impressive animals, every day brings challenges and the constant struggle to survive. They have my utmost respect!!...Thank you MalaMala.

It was a lioness up there in the tree. But its fascinating that buffalos actually cant do anything if their target is slightly above them.

Awesome Nkuhumas and my favorite Mala Mala Maxims Male. The subadults are doing a great job at Buffalo hunting but not on this occasion. The sub male in the tree looks just like his gorgeous late father Blondie Avoca ❤. Glad they made it safely away - we know way too well what can happen 😢. Maxims is looking as handsome as ever. Thanks Guys for this nail bitter. ❤

This is the braviest herd of buffalo 🐃 I 've ever seen versus big wildcats. Yet, the stranded lion 🦁 up the tree looks a recently grown up cub with little experience 😅 of such situations, he will never forget for the rest of his/her life ,lol 😹..

Superb footage. This appears to be the same dangerous buffalo herd that killed the famous Dark Mane. They are very confident despite the fact that such a bushy environment should favor the lions.
Pretty impossible to be able to determine if it's the same herd over the fact this it not uncommon.
Seen a few close calls with the lions escaping in the trees, behind trees.🦁🦁💥...these huge buffaloes can't remain in the sun...poor DarkMane wasn't that lucky🦁 thanks

Great footage and a perfect chance to see the interactions between enemies who kills each other in the fight for surviving, were one part ofte ends up as a meal! Nature can be brutal and beautiful at the same time! Love Lions ❤

This was fascinating. Usually the water buffalo only surround lions when they're trying to save one of their own. In this case they just wanted to kill that lion in the tree.

Why are the lions paws designed the way they are? When they walk you can see the detail of the design.
