Awesome tutorial, everyone that works with polymer clay specially the newer people that always ask about the best pasta machine need to see this video so everyone should share it every time someone ask what’s the best pasta machine, the thought of being able to use black clay and wipe your blades down, and then use white claywithout transferring black to it is awesome
Thank you 😊
Wonderful tutorial it will help alot of people
@@marywoods6329 ☺️thank you
Thank you for all the information this is on my list of craft supplies to get this year
You will not be disappointed. I was so amazed when I seen the difference. Definitely a game changer for me! Thank you for watching ☺️
Just ordered this brand. Cant wait to get started
Yayyy! How exciting 😁🥰
That was great! Thank you!❤
You’re welcome, thank you for watching 😊
Thanks!
Awww thank you so much 😊 this truly means so much and very much appreciated 🥰
Would you be able to do a full tutorial on making a polymer clay easy slab using the pasta machine and settings how to use it? Please? I just got my machine!! So so excited!!!
I will see what I can put together for you. I have a few tutorials already scheduled for the next couple weeks but I will put something together soon for you 😁
I also got the newer version so thank you!!
Yay!! Oh i would appreciate it so much! Honestly i know there are a ton of videos out there, but I appreciate your videos the most and how you explain everything and don’t skip steps. Most tutorials aren’t thorough so i feel like i am still just searching non stop! So its exhausting and stressful.
@EndlessLoveNyx yayyy I’m so excited for you! I absolutely love mine and made my clay making so much easier and faster
@@EndlessLoveNyx I really appreciate that because I thought the same thing when I first started and decided I needed to do FULL tutorials really explaining and showing how to do things not skip over parts, so to hear this really makes me happy 😃 thank you 😊 it makes the hard work worth it
how well do the new blades last? And do you know if replacements are available? I've had a look and couldn't find just the blades anywhere?
The blades should last quite a long time, there is a man on eBay that sells replacement blades that fit the new machines I don’t know if it’s part of the Atlas company or not. But the blades are high tensile strength plastic material so if you’re not poking things and your machine and you’re not forcing too thick clay for the space between the rollers your blade should last a very long time
Jan gave the perfect answer 🥰 hope that helps
Can you take the blades out and wipe on the 150 model?
If it’s the new model yes. I do not have a link for that only the one I got (the 180) the only difference between them is the width
Does the pedal make it possible to adjust the speed of the motor?
No it doesn’t, it works the same speed with or without the pedal
I ordered the 180 from the amazon link in the video but it doesn't have the clear washers. Will it still work as well as yours with the clear?
You will most likely get the same one I did. I was told by other clay people they are sending all the new ones out now and didn’t update the photos. That is the same link I used, I personally am not sending them so I cannot promise anything but I myself received the new one and others told me they did as well, so fingers crossed it is the same for you. If not send back and say you want the new model. ☺️
Or are you telling me you already received it ? If so does it have removable blades because if it does it should work exactly the same as mine does. If it doesn’t have removable blades send back and tell them you want the new model. The new models have removable blades.
Thank you so much for your video. What is the model number of your machine? I know it’s a 2024, but it would help if I could get the model number. Thanks for all your time and effort in making such an informative tutorial.
I searched on the machine and the motor and I unfortunately do not see anything that actually says model number if you wanted to know which exact one I have here is the link that I used to get mine amzn.to/3TXMXSn I’ll also put the link for the motor below this. If you know where I could find the model number please let me know and I will look for it for you, but for what I see on the actual machine and motor no model number is on there.
amzn.to/3NYItao motor link
Thank you for this super helpful video! I just want to clarify whether this is a Monafied machine?
Marcato- I put links in description if you like to see exactly which one it is
The whole point is you don't have to get your machine monafied. You can clean the blades with ease without having to remove the end. I never got mine monafied . To me it was too costly. I'd rather get a motor. Which is definitely a blessing if you work with clay alot x
@@sherbearsclay Thank you very much!
@@hazelparr8461 That is what i thought based on @sherbearsclay video. Mine is old and the rollers are pitted. It will be cheaper to buy new and get a motor.
You’re welcome ☺️
I just ordered the 180 from your link and unfortunately got the older version. :( Interesting that today when I looked at the same product, the price went up by $20+. I'm wondering if I got an older one in their stock and what they have left is now the newer version so they increased the price. I paid $66.92 and it is now showing at $89.19. I am really bummed as I was hopeful that I would get the newer version. Trying now to decide if I should send it back or get it modified through Mona Kissel. I am also going to write the seller and see if the 12 they have left in stock on amazon at the higher price is the newer version. I may just return and buyMona's modified one even though it will cost me a lot more. Or may just keep the one I have and wait until next year to hopefully get the newer version. So frustrating that they can't tell you which one they are selling instead of having to guess.
Oh no I’m so sorry, how disappointing to hear this. I was talking to another clay person when i ordered mine and he told me if i get the older version send bk and reorder and will probably get newer version but I got the newer version so idk. I would contact them and see if you could send bk and receive the newer version instead. Would probably be cheaper than having it modified.
Like we said, do it a million times, it's fine. Turn on the camera? It goes wrong 😂😂😂 I've GOT to get me a foot petal. I've had a few on my Amazon wishlist forever, but just haven't bought one yet. Do you like having the petal? Do you use it all the time?
I just got mine a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. It’s fantastic for blending my colors and not having to worry about not having both hands! In the description area I have the links. I think I paid 8.99 for mine. It’s definitely worth the couple dollars
@@sherbearsclay yeah, I noticed that they're not very expensive...I honestly don't know why I haven't ordered one yet. I bet it makes things a lot easier when changing the thickness settings too. Not having to turn it off, change the setting, turn it on....rinse & repeat.
@@madebymellyjewelry absolutely 💯 I say get one and you’ll be happy you did 😘
Great! One of these days I will get one.
I waited a long time myself, just glad my old one started to break so to speak to make me get this one 😂 I did post in description area the pieces I got, I found if you buy motor separately it turned out cheaper then the one I was looking at with motor and machine together, so when you decide to get check all your options you may save a few dollars buying separately ☺️
Can you remove the rods and the other version the 150 is it?
This one is the 180 which only means it’s slightly bigger than the 150 and the removable rods are on the new versions. I put a link in description for the one I got I cannot tell you what others to get because it won’t say new or old versions when purchased. I just know when I ordered from the link I provided it was new version.
Thanks! I ordered the 150!! But so you have to clean the pasta machine as soon as you get it before rolling clay? I am afraid of black streaks.. did that happen to you? I am new to this :(
@@EndlessLoveNyx I have not had that happen and did not clean before I used it. I honestly never thought about cleaning it before using it, so I’m glad that didn’t happen 😂
@@EndlessLoveNyx also yayyy on getting the atlas you will be very happy with it
Thanks so much for replying! I love all your videos so thank you so so much!!
Oh no! I want this version but i already own 2 or 3 machines and 2 motors should pne motor die. I do lend my spare machines out to newbies in my clay group hence i have a few.
lol I actually bought two machines and one motor not realizing how easy they were to clean initially, But definitely worth every penny 🥰🥰🥰
I have followed your link to Amazon and they don't say that the blades can be removed. As I am in New zealand is there something I am missing in the listing that talks about being able to remove the blades?
That is the exact one I bought it didn’t say removable blade when I bought it either. To my understanding the blades were not as easy to remove in the past but since last January they are now sending the new versions with the removable blades, which is what I received. That’s the best I can tell you since I’m not the one shipping them. I just copied the link I used and posted it for everyone.
I bought mine not too long ago so you should receive the new version as well
My suggestion is if you receive old version ship bk but I was also told that they are shipping new versions that’s why I ordered and happy received that, so I’m not sure what to really say. Sorry wish I could be more helpful
Thanks - Have been waiting for the removable version to turn up on Amazon and just wasn't confident so should be fine. Thanks so much for your advice. @@sherbearsclay
@@karensuckling3001 you’re very welcome. And let me know when you get! ☺️
I hate the plastic blades. They have wreaked havoc on my translucent clay. Is it possible to get different blades?
I know someone does sell separate blades but I’m not sure who. I’ll see if I can find out for u
@@sherbearsclay That would be amazing, thanks!
Thanks!
Thank you so much 😊 this truly means so much and is much appreciated 🥰🥰🥰
