  • Baylor couldn't miss. Zags got out physical'd and they shot terrible with careless turnovers. I was absolutely shocked they were only down 10 at the half. This never even felt like a game the whole time. Even when they were chipping away the deficit.

    • Baylor starters AVERAGE AGE was 22.5 and they had two players at 24.5 years of age. My lord that is OLDER than the Chicago Bulls NBA starting 5. Add Sabonis at 22 and Zach Collins at 22 to this team and see how it turns out. It's a legitimate SPORTS DISCUSSION do we really want ADULT MEN PLAYING college basketball? Baylor 2021 would have defeated 2017 North Carolina NCAA champions.

Baylor was AWESOME THEY DESERVED TO WIN HANDS DOWN!! Frankly as big a ZAGS FAN AS I am , when I saw Baylor play Houston I knew we had ZERO CHANCE...

    • @@Davo2times Your right nothing wrong with players staying all 4 years but Baylor has players so OLD THEY STAYED ALL FOUR YEARS AND RED SHIRTED 3 TO 4 YEARS!!.. COME ON MAN be honest 24 and 25 year olds are ANCIENT for College basketball 🏀!! Why do you think the blue blood teams are not as great? They have no older players like Baylor.. Even the ZAGS now loose 1 and done players after one year and it's tough building around teams that do this UNLESS IT HAPPENS EVERY YEAR FOR EVERY TEAM and it's not!!

  • All of sports is a mental energy game and Gonzaga spent all of their mental energy winning against UCLA. They had nothing left for the finals against Baylor. It takes time to rebuild mental focus and energy after a hard fought win. Baylor should thank UCLA for winning the national championship with such ease.

    @adolphdooley3632@adolphdooley36323 жыл бұрын
    • They don't need to thank anyone. Gonzaga could not deal with a no. 11 seed while Baylor thrashed no.2 seed Houston. That should have shown people which team was the favourite but they were too busy high on the drama of no. 1 seed barely winning after overtime against a no. 11 team.

    • @@jameswabwire1931 - I’m not taking anything away form Baylor. The ease at which they won, and how terrible Gonzaga played, I know the Gonzaga players were mentally empty, they left everything on the floor on Saturday, to get to Monday, and they had no mental fortitude for the finals on Monday; and that is why they looked like what they were, mentally on empty.

  • First of all CONGRATULATIONS to BAYLOR BASKETBALL 2021 NCAA TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS!! Now the SPORTS DISCUSSION has to point out that Baylor AVERAGE AGE of the STARTERS as reported February 5th, 2021 by a SPORTS ANALYST, was 22.5 years old!! This is OLDER than the CHICAGO BULLS NBA STARTING 5!! I hope this is not the TREND. Do we want to see Baylor 24.5 (two of the players were nearly 25 years old) ?? Baylor at 22 to 23 years AVERAGE AGE would HAVE ANNIALATED 2017 NORTH CAROLINA NCAA freshman champions that beat the ZAGS... This needs to be a NCAA BASKETBALL SPORTS DISCUSSION at some point after Baylor enjoys their win... Congrats to BAYLOR NCAA CHAMPIONS!!!

  • Disagree that Baylor was the best team all year if they were they were to be undefeated and the fact is if you look at the games I think Gonzaga was just a little mentally and physically hung over it took him about 10 to 12 minutes to even get in the game and then it was played even. They will be remembered look if we can remember Kentucky that was undefeated until they lost in final four we’re definitely going to remember Gonzaga they were the best team all year by significant amount until the last game

    @DuckFanDane@DuckFanDane3 жыл бұрын
    • Well you are just wrong. Give them a week rest and play 5 times. They wouldn't get any faster or more athletic. Baylor would beat the breaks off of them 5 out of 5 times. Only reason they weren't undefeated is cause 8 players got covid. Gonzaga wouldn't be undefeated in big 12. Period

      @spoza72@spoza723 жыл бұрын
    • @@spoza72 Disagree with you wholeheartedly I agree that Baylor is the better team but normally it would be a much closer game Gonzaga played dead for 10 minutes which allowed them to get a 19 point lead it played about even the rest of the way and Baylor shot out of their mind ridiculous. Now I agree Baylor is better but acting like they would completely destroy them every time if they played 10 times is ridiculous. Baylor would probably win six times out of 10 if they played 10 times. The facts are very clear about this when a team has a physically and mentally they under perform the next game and lose more often than not in the tournament after a team goes through a game like that their next game teams are 8-19 losing by an average of eight points. Baylor deserves all the credit in the world though my problem I is trying to denigrate Gonzaga. They were the best team this year over the regular season I wholeheartedly believe the only team that could beat Gonzaga this year is Baylor.
