  • 1:15 This quote perfectly explains what Klopp means to Liverpool. To be a Liverpool manager is more than just being a coach. Theres the expectation to connect with the city, the fans, to understand their history and the values, and to really embody what it means to be a Red. Klopp understood that, and he embraced it. Not only has he lived up to the expectations and delivered on his promise of winning the league, he has gone above and beyond to become part local culture. It doesnt just feel like a manager leaving the job, it feels like saying goodbye to an uncle or a friend.

  • The shock of Klopp leaving reminds me personally of a young kid being interviewed in Liverpool when Shankly left, the news was almost unbelievable. Klopp is an amazing human being, no manager ever will have his charisma and the bond he not only had with the players but the fans, the city and the culture of Liverpool. He is the greatest manager the premier league has seen, He may not of won more trophies than other managers but they didn’t have what Jurgen has, you will never hear of players or ex players saying they were badly treated by him unlike certain managers who work 32 miles away!! We will miss you Jurgen!

I was so happy after a trip to Liverpool in 2022 (after CL semi at home) when he signed until 2026. BUT thanks for all the chapters in your book and we look forward to the last chapter in the best book that has ever been written. Klopp at Liverpool FC 2015-2024. Boss Tha!

  • Klopp is irreplaceable. Among the greatest managers Liverpool ever had. The new manager that is to come will find a team which represents one of the top sides of Europe. When Klopp took this team, Liverpool was bang average. It is not the players that he brought in or turned into world class. His greatest contribution at Liverpool is the elite mentality he brought to this club not the trophies won.

In logic that team shouldn’t realistically move from where it is and where it’s been in success recently so if it did then ownership needs to take responsibility. Klopps built it so Maintain it and keep it secure. In my mind the new manager cannot fail much really the squad is there and it’s good crop of players who love the club and that so for me he can’t fail and if he did shows he’s not yet ready for it.

  • Guardiola is a winning machine of a manager but he doesn't connect with fans and the city of Manchester like Klopp does with us. I read somewhere recently Klopp saying, some managers collect trophies, he collects relationships, or something to that effect. Yes, he wants to win but it's more than that. It's giving people hope, not just in sport but in life. It's bringing heart, passion and a sense of belonging to people and Klopp has done that at Anfield, in Liverpool and the premier league as a whole. Opposition fans are going to miss him and that says it all. The same couldn't be said of Fergie and I don't think the same will be said of Pep when he leaves Man City. Re the next manager. I wouldn't be surprised if FSG and Edwards go for a man who is not currently being touted by the media. It wasn't a dead cert of who we were going for when Rodgers went if I recall correctly???

Lula, President of Brazil said “Supporting Corinthians is different from anything you might know supporting any other team. Because being a Corinthiano is not just about being a supporter. It is about being a militant, 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. It is like you are defending a cause. And it doesn’t matter if things are going badly, because the worse they get, the more we have faith.’”

If Klopp wasn't as polite of a person he is, he would've ripped FSG apart for A dropping out of the Bellingham race and B not beeing able to supervise the reconstruction of the Anfield rd stand with the stand STILL not finished publicly. • @@nonnayoubuzinnes1669what does that have to do with what i said? a new manager came in and brought in his own players, wow amazing, thats never been done before. its also kinda a funny thing to say cosidering firmino was a rodgers signing and became one of if not the most important player for klopp for years. People like you just have a difficult time admitting that liverpool is actually a good football club that knows what its doing. youll just have to learn the hard way
