Liverpool has a strict paystructure that has to fit in with a sustainable financial model. Give it to one player and then they'll all expect massive payrises and the system collapses.

I wouldn't swap any of Liverpool's success over the last three years for the world, but it has to be said. The football we were playing from September to Christmas 2017 before Coutinho left has to be some of the best I've ever seen Liverpool play.

Initially I was frustrated why Liverpool didn't buy big name established strikers... but I now understand they probably would not have fitted Klopp's or THIS TEAM's spirit and style of play, the team build up and team goals are breathtaking to watch... even when I watch the matches on TV with my Man U, Spurs and Chelsea mates, they would say - "Liverpool is fun to watch."

The EFFORT off the ball from the midfield to run the full length when they MUST be confident that the front 3 will score is INCREDIBLE. Henderson is constantly SCREAMING down the pitch to provide backup just in case a ball deflects backwards. We constantly have 5-6 players at full pace while the defense runs back at 70% pace assuming the goal is a given

Right now we barely see it because most of team are playing tight defense against Liverpool atm so Liverpool need to play possesion football, but in 2017/18 season Liverpool counter attacking are so electric and quick with mane and salah up front that can run you out and bobby firmino with his playmaking behind those two as a false 9.
Too bad these days almost all the team shamelessly playing very deep low block against Liverpool now. The beautiful blistering lightning fast counter attacks become scarce.
Noticed that also, many Liverpool fans are saying Mane's level has dropped but he can't make those runs anymore, these highlights show Liverpool at their best, but this has made the opposition wary and risk averse.
Alot has changed since most of the teams know Liverpool counter attacking strength and quality. So Klopp change his style and we play Highline and pressure them in their own half.
