Everton must surely start this game on the front foot and would be good to try to maintain that attacking mindset through the whole game. That's the way to engage the Goodison faithful behind the team right from the beginning. Imo Everton players should keep possession better, also by being more meticulous with their passes. And they should win more second balls all over the pitch, by being quicker to the ball and having better anticipation. Keep the tempo and intensity high enough, if needed also with a couple of substitutions in the 1 hour mark, and try to be more bold and decisive in the final third, for example by putting more bodies in the box, just as we did earlier in the season when we were creating many chances and also scoring regularly. Nobody can guarantee a result, but make sure everyone plays for the badge and the supporters! 💪

We can’t expect a team fighting relegation and losing Gray, Gordon, Iwobe and Richarlison to improve. Without the points deduction Dyche has improved the position. Prospects look grim with 6 games to go.

The bigger context is that we have undoubtedly been singled out by the corrupt premier league for harsh and unfair treatment while others go unpunished, and this is bound to have had an impact across the club, that said Mondays result was an embarrassment and felt like a huge letdown. Playing Chelsea there’s only one player to worry about but somehow we allowed him the time and space to put the game beyond us. Very poor and I hope there’s a response on Sunday

As ever he talks a good game but we get the same half hearted, poorly drilled toothless performance on the pitch. The players have looked well off the pace in the last half dozen matches and that's with a warm weather training camp in the middle. If there isn't a change in individual effort and team play immediately we will go down on results not points deductions. We have to stop surrendering points and talking about how we will work on it being different in the next game. It's now or never for everybody who walks out of the tunnel on Sunday. We need a convincing win and a dominant performance. Nothing else will help us. Realistically we will get nothing from Arsenal or Liverpool which realistically leaves us a maximum of 12 points to fight for to get to 39 points. Luton have got us to play but 4 other easily winnable games. Winning four gets them to 37 so us v them really could be the proverbial 6 pointer - as long as we win the others - starting on Sunday. why did we sack sam allardayce to play the same football and end up relegated. allardyche gave us one of our best finishes in his time as manager. id rather finish 9th than 19th

Mate he had Rooney playing upfront who was arguably Englands greatest ever player plus many other good players. Dyche has DCL who’s scored about 6 in the last 2 seasons…
He finished 8th (from 13th) with a stronger squad than finished 7th the season prior. Playing dreadful dour football. Also, spent almost £50m on Tosun and Walcott (he was here for 6 months). That gravy tits, is looked back on fondly, just shows you how brow beaten Everton have become.

Perhaps too much superfluous banter at these sessions. We just need more vigorous leadership on the pitch and not be second best most of the time in ball winning situations. The crowd recognise when a player is fully and passionately committed and will react accordingly. I worry when I hear the words, 'Since I've been here' uttered by yet another manager.

pl players dont know there born if everton everton do go down they will be playing 3 games a week in the 80's they played 40 league games the league gams was over to legs the fa cup would somtimes go to a 3rd game teame like everton liverpool who played in europe 2 leged games and it was mostly the same team every sat and wed and 1 sub they could be playing 70 to 80 games a season
