  • Victoria is such an interesting player. In one way, she felt like an underdog, having not played Jeopardy in 19 years, facing two powerhouses in Amy and Andrew. Yet she’s also a Chaser and a big deal in the larger quizzing community.

  • More amazing in her initial appearance only 1 win but against David Madden. In the final knocked out Amy Schneider. She's a giant killer twice

  • I enjoyed watching through all the tounaments, but I understand all the fatigue there has been with over half the season gone before starting regular Jeopardy play. A rcommendation I have is to have next year's JIT be during Prime Time so it doesn't take away from the normal syncicated shows. I understand this season was different with the writers' strike, but the JIT happened after the strike was over and I think may have better ratings if it were done during Prime Time and streamed over the associated network's streaming service.

    • It's a "producers' pick" which has yet to be revealed. Scuttlebutt is that the Rutter 'inavailability' for the JIT is a ruse because he's #6.

    • I believe it's gonna be announced Friday. My guess is that it's gonna be either one of the TOC runner-ups or maybe Cris. Perhaps it could also be any of Brad, Roger or Julia as well.

  • Major congratulations to Victoria, she's been a bright light in my life and an all around great sport. I'm 100% hoping either her or James takes the victory in the 2024 Masters but anyone who gracefully wrecks the rude Yogesh Raut at any point in the 2024 Masters is AUTOMATICALLY my hero and the hero we need. Victoria is down-to-earth, humble, professional, charismatic, and telegenic. All positive attributes Yogesh unfortunately does not possess.

    • you seem to carry a grudge against yogesh everywhere. whats wrong with you little buddy

      @hayekianman@hayekianman23 күн бұрын
    • @@hayekianmanmany people, including me, have grudges against Yogesh for a reason: Jeopardy is meant to be fun but Yogesh was not a fun contestant to watch because he played the games like grudge matches, displayed a negative spirit on screen, and showed no respect to the game. To put things into context, Holzhauer criticized Mike Richards based on Richards' attitude and personality, and not the show as a whole. Raut criticized the entire show based on his own ego and personality. There's a difference. Richards did do something wrong, whereas the show did not. In addition, James Holzhauer overall had better behavior than Yogesh Raut. For example, Holzhauer gave the victor a high-five during his losing game. Raut, on the other hand, looked angry and exhibited tasteless sportsmanship after his loss by going to social media to slam the game show as unimportant.

    • Her post-J! stint thru World Quizzing Championship (which her next opponent & 2024 TOC winner Yogesh Raut and 2024 TOC-2nd Runner Up Troy Meyer also competed against her) and her appearance on ABC version of The Chase got her invitation at the 2024 JIT along with her fellow chaser Brandon Blackwell (part of winning team at 2019-20 University Challenge & Million Second Quiz 1st Runner Up).

    • It wasn’t just jeopardy. I think that’s why Roger Craig/Julia Collins and a couple others didn’t return this tournament due to the exact reason stated below being that they wanted people who’ve won both Jeopardy and other quizzing tournaments or been on other quiz shows and done quite well
