I truly believe if Charles had been a loving, respectful , faithful husband, the marriage would have turned out alright. Diana wanted a good marriage & happy family. The way he treated her made that impossible.

If Charles hadn't been an unfaithful, adulterous asshole from the start, she wouldn't have gone into the arms of others. If Charles actually tried to have a decent marriage in the first place, Diana would probably still be alive today. As she wouldn't have been off with Dodey (misspelled I know). How could she be "faithful" when Charles was with Camilla from the start? It was never a real marriage.

She was on a private estate, and assumed private actually meant PRIVATE. This just goes to show the news tells people what to think, feel, and repeat. Sarah is pretty, her cloths are nice, and she is not even overweight other than right after having children according to the medical meaning and concerns of overweight. Aren't we all overweight right after having children as we lack rest and time for self care to be our most healthy and fit? I remember hearing about how fat and ugly she was while I was growing up. Watching this now as an adult she is lovely. The cheating was not only harmful to herself but also her family but the years of media picking on her and getting everyone to call her fat, ugly, and tacky clearly played a part in why she wrongly sought validation and escape with men.
Fergie isn't so much of an outcast as people think. Fergie herself has said she is friends with the queen. She said one year she was invited to stay at a cottage at Balmoral so she could see her daughters at christmas. She was at the cottage when their was a knock on the door. When she answered it, it was the queen. They spent a few hours just talking like old friends. Everytime since she has gone to Baloral the queen pops down to see her. When Prince Philip died, Fergie was one of the people who helped the queen

For me Fergie reminds me of an over excited child who doesn’t know when to calm it down. On the other hand she learnt a very hard valuable lesson, went off the rails a little and managed to claw her way back to respectability. I think she is a very attractive woman, and the press were wrong to criticise her when she was clearly very depressed. I admire her loyalty to Andrew, and his to her. Such a shame they were “guided” by the wrong people. I hope Fergie has found some peace in her life now.

Not sure how long ago this was filmed, but Fergie has edged her way back in to the royal graces. She has been to the Royal Ascot a couple of times, she was at Prince Harry's wedding, she's even in a wedding picture from Princess Eugenie's wedding standing next to Prince Phillip, who swore he'd never be in a room with her again. She has been several times, publicly, with Prince Andrew........ to the point of speculation that they may get remarried. Now I think Andrew is in a much more scandalous position than she ever was.

Diana was sure that she would marry Prince Andrew when she grew up. Her family took to calling her Dutch because they were also sure she would marry Andrew and become a Duchess. Once Diana realized that she could actually catch Charles, the chase was on and facilitated by her family. Diana feigned interest in Charles’ interests and hobbies (Balmoral, fishing hunting, etc.)-basically, she pretended to be who Camilla is, a hunting, shooting, fishing, reading country girl. Then as soon as they were on their honeymoon (most of which was at Balmoral), Diana declared each of his interests as borrrring. When the honeymoon moved on to Balmoral she would have have fits of screaming and crying when he wouldn’t do what she wanted when she wanted him to do it (the court was at Balmoral for the summer so there was official business going on and many witnesses). After the honeymoon she proceeded to, one by one, separate him from his friends (he would give in to avoid conflict with her), then his staff (who would quit because she would not look at or speak to those she wanted to leave). In her mind, she loved him, but then attempted to change everything about him, and if he wanted any kind of peace, he would comply. Diana and her family, particularly the Spencers, were very ambitious and misrepresented who she was to the RF, particularly regarding her emotional health & stability. The Spencer’s actually had a bit of a reputation for unstable men (Diana’s mom cited abuse in the divorce), but the RF didn’t think the mental issues affected the Spencer women. Diana actually refused to cooperate with mental health professionals provided by the RF when they realized how unstable she was, and wouldn’t accept mental health help for years (yes, the RF tried to get her professional help) until a friend threatened to out her bulimia to the press because she was afraid it would kill her. And that is just how she treated Charles. As a grown woman she held hostility towards her mother for leaving her abusive father (her mother took Diana & her brother with her but lost custody), pushed her 60 year old stepmother down the stairs (long after Diana married btw), threw her stepmother’s things out the window in trash bags after her father died, fired one staff for claiming expenses with the palace for some trips with Diana (completely legitimate expenses), and fired another who was the currier delivering tapes to Andrew Morten for her for accepting reimbursement from the publishing company. The virginal “Shy Di” persona was completely a creation of a press. A bit like the common impression that the Queen Mother “sweet ol’granny.”
I always felt sorry for her, the vile media hounded her, forever comparing her to Princess Diana. Pulling everything apart, her hair , her clothes, her figure, anything they could get there teeth into. It never let up, bet she was so glad when she got away from it all.
That's why Harry left England. He didn't want his wife and children hounded by the vile press. He doesn't want them to go through what his mother went through.
They are doing the same with william, Kate, Harry and Magan. Out of both couples Harry and Megan are better people

I like her. With all her faults and flaws she has had it tough at times but her heart is in the right place. I wrote to her once and received a lovely reply. Hope she has a good life from now on with both girls married now she will be able to enjoy the grandkids in the future. Good luck to her.
