The Duke of York speaks to Emily Maitlis about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein and the allegations against him.
In a world exclusive interview, Newsnight’s Emily Maitlis speaks to Prince Andrew, the Duke of York at Buckingham Palace.
For the first time, the Duke addresses in his own words the details of his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who took his own life while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges.
In 2015, Prince Andrew was named in court papers as part of a US civil case against Epstein.
The Prince, who is the Queen’s third child, also answers questions about the allegations made against him by one of Epstein’s victims, and discusses the impact of the scandal on the Royal family and his work.

I don't even know how they are still called 'conspiracies' because all you have to do is talk about them, watch how your successful comments are removed. There is no reason to remove comments that are baseless. At this point, the BBC.. and media in general are going for damage control. They know that people are waking up to the total bullshit narrative that we are presented with, and it's spreading like absolute wildfire. This whole interview feels scripted to me, as in he was aware of the questions and already had the answers waiting. The BBC looks like they gave a grilling and Andrew wins some idiots over. Win/win right? We need to stop letting them control the narrative the whole world gets to hear, and regulate the fuck out of it. BBC and it's track record of helping literal necrophiliac paedophile murderers should have been burnt to ash the minute it all came out.
