  • Btw, my girls are LOVING the educational videos. My 7 yr olds teacher emailed me the other day and asked me if we raised sheep because of all the facts she keeps spouting off at school every time we watch one!! 😂😂😂 I thought it was cute and told her how she learned all of it. Rock on, ladies. Rock on!!!!!

      @TheSuzberry@TheSuzberry8 ай бұрын
    • There are also lots of modern spinning wheels available to buy, some even used! If you seriously want to pursue that, look at Ravelry. They have at least one section for spinning and other tools for sale. I bought a used, portable spinning wheel that way. It’s a Schacht Sidekick wheel. My main wheel is a Schacht Matchless. I also have a collection of drop spindles, like about 12 of them. An antique wheel has challenges to it, like having the right parts for it, to make sure it works. That can be problematic. There are lots of good, modern spinning wheels being made, some that even look old-fashioned, like your antique wheel.

  • KATIE!! When you say that harlequins are beautiful sheep you don’t lie! Rupert was an extremely handsome feller once you got all that nappy “I really need a haircut “ wool off him. Yes you said he had a cute little tail but he still took offense to his backside being called cute. 🤣🤣 The care and gentleness that you use while shearing these sheep just shows how much you love your job and the sheep that you are taking care of. I think you found your true calling when you got into doing this. Much love from KY!! ♥️♥️

Because I watch your videos I get many others showing up. There are many shearers that I would love to throttle for the way they treat the sheep, especially the ones in the time races, or at least twist them into the POS tions they make the sheep twist. Keep up your great work and I look forward to the next video. 😄💕🐏🐑🐑🐏🐏💞
