Captain America: Civil War, rounding out the Captain America trilogy on just about the strongest note possible. There's very little wrong with this film. Which makes my job fun. Here's everything right with Captain America Civil War. Next week a whole new saga of wins will begin.

I felt like THAT emotional barrier he has not come to terms because he loved her unconditionally while him and his dad had some bitter moments. Honestly at that point I knew Tony was going to do whatever he can to avenge his mom’s death. Logic and reason be damned, he killed his mom. Powerful stuff. Remember this is a comic book movie. • I really think that Chris should've gotten an oscar or something for his performance as Captain America. The character is an extremely difficult role to play and is very complicated and complex; on paper Captain America is probably a character I wouldn't have liked that much because he seemed so self-righteous but Chris's performance seemed so natural and it gave the character a lot of depth. Plus the fact that he is nothing like the character really speaks volume to his acting performance. I'm not trying to diss anyone but for mcu actors like RDJ who play a character like Iron Man who they are actually really similar to, it's easy for them. But when it comes to a character like Captain America who doesn't even seem human and no one could be similar to him because of how perfect he is, it's difficult to play that kind of role yet Chris did it amazingly. All the actors in mcu are amazing and they all deserve awards for their performances but Chris definitely deserves it more than most.

  • One of my favourite lines in the MCU is "I don't care, he killed my mom." Why? Because we know all about his relationship with his dad, we've been hearing about it since day one. All we've seen of his mum is her talking to him at the beginning in a hologram, but that one line tells you everything. It's not "my parents", it's not "my mum and dad". But there was an affection that Tony and Steve had for each other. Their differences were philosophical, but that doesn’t mean that they didn’t care about each other. It's impossible to imagine what it would be like to remember actions that you had no control over at the time. As you said, Bucky wasn't particularly close to Howard during the war, but the memory of killing someone you knew, and seeing the pain you unwillingly caused their family, has to be immensely painful. When Spiderman catches Bucky's metal arm, you'll notice his eyes widen, and he actually lets Peter speak rather than counter attack. In the MCU, where literally anything can catch Bucky's arm, that's not what he's surprised by; he's shocked that Peter is just a kid. He's never seen Pete's face, and this is the first time he's heard his voice. It may look like he's just standing there to wait for Falcon to come in, but in reality he's pausing for a moment to take account of the fact he's fighting an actual kid, a kid who should be in school and be doing his homework, not dealing in grown-up stuff like this. Bucky's always been one to stand up for the little guy, and now he's fighting the little guy.

Sokovia is their only defense and even there it's not the Avengers fault but TONY'S maybe the worlds sicne they failed to capture all hydra agents. the Wanda incedent. they are goign aftger another hydra agent and they think bank robbery but turns out it's him going after a bio weapon. and her move only 14 die were if on the ground at least 100 are dead, maybe more if she wasn't there. also the accords can not stand legal muster. what we know of them vioaltes at least one US constutional right and vioaltes a couple UN human rights so it has no standing.

Vision doesn't always agree, but he and ultron can somewhat understand each other, and now he is really, really really really subtly continuing Ultron's effect on them all: whether it be tony's conscious, or the battle in sokovia, or the whole point of Ultron being bad, It shows how he has just as much affect on the MCU as Loki, or thanos, or any other villain, even though I hear him get thrown under the bus in favor of other characters. You can see the weight of this burden fall on him as he, most likely for the first time, begins to realize the pain he has caused Tony and so many others, a burden he will perhaps carry with him for the rest of his life. So he thinks a civilian casualty is avoidable. Cap saw and lived through WW2 and the devistation that wrought on Europe. He knows you can't save everyone. Just some thoughts there!

If you had issues with Civil War then you'll likely be more fond of Cinema Sins but those who really dug it will more enjoy Cinema Wins. So I guess that means I'm obviously more on the later but yeah I really loved Captain America 3 and much prefer this video as honestly felt like Cinema Sins and heck even honest trailers were desparately looking at things to nitpick to go "okay I know DC fans think we're Marvel Fan boys for hating on BvS and other things but hey look we can do the same to Marvel movies" except their points just feeling forced. Hell Cinema Wins pretty much broke down why Zemo's plan not only ins't overly convoluted but really works for the movie and isn't just concidence after concidience like others tried to say it is.

He attacked to kill, while Steve and Bucky wanted to disarm him. And by doing so proved what a hypocrite he was all along, being pro accords and crying that 'vigilanty is bad' and 'superheroes need to be held responsieble for their actions' just to ignore it and try to kill a guy that killed his parents. Has he a right to be angry - yes, but attacking a man that was brainwashed into being a human waepon and should not even be considered a murderer ('cos he had no choice or agency one can argue that Bucky should be considered innocent).

    • Tony wasn't entirely prepared to kill Cap at first. It was only when Cap REALLY started hurting him that Tony realised it was all or nothing to avenge his parents. In short, Tony made the decision too late to be of any help in the final seconds. To avoid being one-sided, I think both characters match each other. Sure, Iron Man has a fancy suit with lots of gadgets, but aside from being smarter and stronger than your average man, he relies on his suit very much in fights. Cap on the other hand is extremely powerful and doesn't rely on the suit or suchlike - its more or less his ideology that can bring him down (he nearly died to Bucky in the final fight in TWS because he refused to kill his friend; unlike Tony in this situation, he wasn't really prepared to kill, at least not until something terrible happened to Bucky).

    • That point bothered me Cross Bones was proved in the last movie he was a Hydra agent and as a Hydra agent he would have wanted Steve to be dead anyway so even with out the ass kicking Cross bones received in the last movie he would have wanted Cap plus all the Avengers to die. and Hydra was created before Steve ever became a super soldier and if The founding Shield members would have killed Armin Zola Hydra would have been defeated in the first movie. The reason Cap even becomes a Super Soldier is because Dr. Abraham makes the Super Soldier serum and gives to the guy who becomes Red Skull. and then Cap gets the Super Soldier serum because he just wants to help people and does not care about the glory which also the reason Peggy starts to get endeared by Steve. And if Shield would have killed Zola instead of letting him go free Bucky would have never became the Winter Soldier thus saving Tony's parents and pretty much getting rid of the existence of Iron man and Tony becoming less of a dick because his mom is still alive so most of his enemies would not have a reason to try and get revenge on him. Thor would still probably come to earth because that changes nothing that happens on Asgard. Hulk probably still exists. Cap still gets found in the Ice but because Zola was killed Hydra does not infiltrate shield. also Steve and Howard get to have a cool reunion. So if Dr Abraham does not create super soldiers the MCU is just full of human conflict for the most part. and all 3 Iron mans are erased Cap 2 is erased because there is no Hydra infiltrating shield and no Bucky. the first Avengers happens just with no Iron Man. Age of Ultron is gone thus we get no Vision. Civil War does not Happen. Thanos can still be searching for the Infinity Stones and that would still lead him to earth most likley thus we get the Infinity Wars but with out iron Man and Scarlet Witch they would probably loose. So everything that happens throughout the MCU save us from Thanos wrecking everything.

    • *"if Shield would have killed Zola instead of letting him go free Bucky would have never became the Winter Soldier "* Zola had already performed some experiments on Bucky by the time he fell out of the train (how else could he have survived the fall?), and that mission was the one where Zola was *captured.* If SHIELD had killed Zola at that point, Bucky would probably still have become the Winter Soldier anyway.

The difference is, IMO, you didn't need to look that hard for BvS. This movie was damn near perfect with absolutely no plot holes, while BvS has a lot of cool scenes but they are over looked by horrible studio decisions an plot holes. • I love when Steve says, "She's a kid!" because it shows how much he really cares about Wanda. Steve sees her as a girl whose been fighting since she was 10, and she's still trying to handle battles, as seen in Age of Ultron and Steve wants her to be the little kid she didn't get the chance to be.

    • @@shivanim1158 One of my only problems with Civil War is that few of the characters have chosen sides because of what they believe. Other than Tony and Steve, and to a lesser Rhodey, Sam, and Vision. But even the latter three are kind of just following their personal allegiance. If Steve weren't involved Bucky would've been on Tony's side, T'challa is in it for revenge, Peter is following Tony, Clint is following Steve, Scott is following Captain America, and Natasha is inherently hard to pin down anyway.

    • @Damia Savon, dont forget that cap was the one who actually took the time to talk to wanda like an adult, but still be comforting at the same time. tony and vision feared wanda's powers, whereas cap and clint respected them which would have been important when it came to wanda picking a side.

    • Aida Baida even though this version of Tony Stark is based on Superior Iron-Man (where he was an actual bad guy intent on controlling the world)? I understand why people like the actor and the comedy of his dialogue... but people actually like the character of Tony Stark? He's a grade A douchebag that wouldn't give you the time of day if you ever met him in real life... how can people like someone like that?
