Didn't expect my mod to be there, welp, as of now currently working to update that turret collection and some rebalance. And its inspiration is more toward mindustry, but generally is downs to what i think is cool and unique.

@@LYLACSKULL yes, i do indeed have plan to make some turrets can be manually operated like fuse, and as of 1.5, the mod will still stay in 1.4 until the next update which i am currently working on, adding more turrets to the mod

The gene pack mod reminds me a lot of bio shock with how you upgrade with different Adam drinks by just showing the needle into your arm lol, really cool concept for a themed playthrough

God I love this game and this games modders. Ancient minesites? Flooding mechanics? Deployable turrets? It's all so great for fleshing out the world and a wonderful framework of a game. And I love that some modders usually factor in some type of balancing so it can still be challenging, if you're into that of course. Thank you all!

We need to bring back the monster girls mod, it is such a cool concept that i had for most of my playthroughs, yet its not going to be supported unless someone else picks it up.

Time to once again pitch the Terraform mod. Yes, it's OP. But it takes FOREVER to finish the research even at 500% research speed. So you still need to grind it. The early stages allow you to change tiles to different kinds, sometimes in certain steps(sand to dirt, dirt to fertile soil. Shallow water to water, water to ocean). After you finish it, it allows you to basically spawn in any items you want for essentially free. You want full Cataphracht armor? Done. Zeus hammers for everyone? You got it. Unlimited Glitterworld meds? Bazinga.
You can terraform and insta-research in vanilla, you just have to pause and turn on dev mode.

Some interesting ones, sine Anthropersona was in the list also want to point people to Biotech Expansion - Mamallia. Why just look like it when you can actually shear a sheep person, milk a suffering boomalope person, or cowgirl Even adds herbivore and carnivore genes to really get a themed playthrough of rabid wolf people! Lots of variety, well balanced genotypes, enjoy it a lot!

The problem with modlists is that they can become outdated super fast is there's some sort of a patch or hotfix. So you wind up with a list that worked great for a short time, but gradually becomes less and less useful unless the mod makers keep making updates. There's a mostly CivVI KZheadr I follow and he put up a mod list for a series he was running so you could play along. By the time the series started posting ( about 2 weeks) there were at least 3 mods in that listed that weren't compatible with the current game.
Hopefully most of these get updated to 1.5 quickly and not be left in limbo.

A better fix to breach raids is the mod that just removes breach raids. They make 0 sense to me that a group of raiders will come on the map then blindly tunnel through a mountain to get into a random room in my base

Prefabs is not a bad mod (could be) if given the chance : 1. Rotate buildings 2. See how the building looks like (not just a square outline) Without these features the mod is terrible

I love RimWorld, but every #%^#$^ing time, I quit at the same bug: someone's at a workstation--usually either a butcher table or stone carving table--and gets caught up in an endless loop of a) put the thing on the workstation (usually either a carcass or a chunk of rock), b) progress normally, filling the progress bar, c) put the thing back down and go back to the first step. I run into this bug with every single modded run of RimWorld that I've tried over the years, across versions 1.3, 1.4, and 1.5. It's happened among vastly different load orders, and no amount of removing mods fixes it once it occurs. Honestly, I'm about ready to give up on the game for good.
