Taking a left corner you'd normally feel the car wanting to go right giving resistance but instead you'd take that left had turn and you can feel and see the car sucking itself to the ground as the turning GeForces got higher. Still blown away at how safe and capable that car was. Granted there where a few that I plan on leaving regular rubber instead of polyurethane but overall wonderful to have on the streets of Wisconsin...

  • When you're referring to "Cavitation" around 7:25 you end up explaining aeration cavitation is actually voids of nothing being formed in the fluid, this is usually the primary reason hydraulic power steering pumps and water pumps fail. When those little voids collapse they actually cause pitting and damage to metal surfaces as the voids collapsing are actually incredibly powerful!. Love what you do Jerr bear, as a technician I usually have a strong "dislike" for engineers, you've changed my opinion on them....slightly.

    @corinhoskins2011@corinhoskins20112 жыл бұрын
    • I think he just didn't do a great job explaining but the aeration is a result of cavitation. There is some air dissolved in the oil and the cavitation causes a low pressure area that pulls the air out of the oil as a vapor. It's not really the bad kind of cavitating that violently collapses and destroys pumps and is more like steam bubbles when you boil water.

      @ShellSide@ShellSide2 жыл бұрын
    • @@ShellSide I'm far from an expert on the matter but my understanding is Aeration and Cavitation are two different phenomena one is in which air is introduced and the other is in which air is actually restored after being dissolved, so by that understanding Cavitation wouldn't cause aeration as no air is actually being added into the system. That's why aeration doesn't cause the same collapsing of bubbles and pitting of components. I'm fairly certain jerr bear is correct in saying Cavitation as no air is being introduced to a sealed shock absorber assembly, but he explained the wrong process which is honestly an easy mistake to make.

    @2GSpyderTurbo@2GSpyderTurbo2 жыл бұрын
    • Bruh trophy trucks are super complicated. Most racers run a chassis designed by 2 or 3 companies and just assemble themselves. Check out Armada Engineering that's the chassis we ran. They have thousands of hours in rand d you are better off copying an existing design than trying to make your own. This video doesn't even begin to touch on the intricacies of tt suspension, none the less off-road suspension at all.
