I get the feeling that Morticia isn't actually roasting Weems. She's genuinely complimenting her in her own way knowing the family, like when Wednesday says her mom doesn't have a heart Morticia said "Finally, a kind word to your mother". If you continue this scene, she even brings up the duet they did together for a talent show and compliments her on her Judy Garland impression.

Yeah but Larissa kinda resented Morticia for the behavior towards her. Larissa looked bothered. They’re not enemies but they’re not close friends either. She even threw away the picture of young Morticia in HS. I think Morticia was exactly like Wednesday at a young age. Cruel but has some morals.

@@jg2722 yeah I feel like Morticia and Larissa were a parallel to Wednesday and Enid except I feel like Morticia expressed her self a lot more compared to Wednesday and Larissa probably wasn’t as hyper as Enid. (Not necessarily hyper but idk how else to describe her vibe)

Although what i love about her, aside from her fashion, is that she genuinely cares for Wednesday like when she smile watching her do the know iconic dance of hers or when she takes Wednesday to the hospital to see Eugene. She would even at time compliment Wednesday by comparing her to her mom in a positive way like when she said the last time Ophelia Hall won was when she and Morticia captained the canoe after the Black Cats win. I hope she comes back in S2

But I personally feel like they were best friends at least and definitely cared a lot for each other in the past. And I say in the past because something probably happened between them to make Larissa so resentful with Morticia.

She’s mad at Morticia because she chose Gomez instead of her. She says the boy she asked to the dance turned her down for another girl but I think it’s the other way around.

I don't think she has any lingering feelings towards Gomez because is she did it would have been shown. I like how even though she might have beef with Morticia, she basically keeps it to herself that the audience only know about.
