    • That should be stenciled on the top of every contract, put it on a tshirt and give it to everybody when they first sign with a talent agent or manager so that they understand that THE GAME DOESN'T CHANGE, ONLY THE PLAYERS. If you understand that then you got it, just beware, alert and READ contracts and do not sign anything that hasn't been checked or negotiated to meet your standard and financial agreement.

  • 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 this is CLASSIC! We need more old schoolers like Demond Wilson to speak on these “generational” issues that modern-day folks want to talk about, but have no earthly idea what they’re talking about. You can’t be a youngster turning to another youngster for old wisdom….if ANYONE would run risk of being blackballed, it would be Mr. Wilson & others of his ilk, due to his knowledge & experience in the game; sadder thing is that OUR OWN PEOPLE will be the ones throwing the blackballs into the circle.

    • Lamont is arrogant and delusional. I read Redd Fox's Autobiography. He's always been opinionated and head strong. It doesn't mean he's right. Jonathan Majors was dropped by Disney, dropped by his management company and lost the Dennis Rodman Movie. Lamont was a TV star. He wasn't a Movie star on Jonathan's level. Desmond talks with that old school conviction and confidence that makes him seem right even when he's wrong. He's the type that likes you as long as you agree that he's right.😀

    • I agree with you. BUT, the word "anything" makes his statement a put-down! If he said "You don't know because you are still young", would have told what he was trying to say PLUS it would've put out in front that when WE are young, we make a lot of MIScalculations BECAUSE of our inexperience (so we may not SEE situations correctly)! Peace, Family!

    • He having to talk to him like that cause he is frustrated that he ain't on his level of thinking but yet he still asking questions. As for you and other men who have a hard time listening to a man, maybe it's from lack of having a man (dad, uncle, grandfather) talk to you, or your listening with a woman's ear......meaning you care about the tone of the man rather than listening, then get mad and don't listen.

    • He isn't mad. He is talking to him, like he was a son or grandson. A lot of male boomers talk like this. My Godfather talked like that. I hated it when I was a kid, I thought he didn't like me. One time he made me so mad, I started to cry. He apologized and explained that he was trying to educate me and he didn't mean any harm Generation x, a lot of us, are use to older generation talking like this. We just listen and ignore the harsh tone and some of the things they say. We understand that they care and trying to school us.

  • This is exactly what these young people need to hear. The same as history , when you don’t know anything about the past , how do you have a point of reference ?? Young people are rejecting our history which these powers that be enjoy because that gives them more power to control . People like Demond know this and he is trying to teach a generation that has no foundation. I love what he saying, giving out those gems, making these young people ‘think’. He knows the game only changes players . Yall better hear this man sharing all his wisdom for free. 🥰
