As a fan of Russian Amateur Boxing I really like Bivol's boxing style: lots of foot- and body movement, lots of in-and-out steps, works the jab alot, fluid punches and combinations. To me Bivol is the most exciting boxer to watch these days, superb skills this men has.

I honestly like Bud better eventhough I am russian. Bivol is beatable. Bud is just on a another level.
@@konpoy Bud is wider than Canelo, and sometimes taller. Sometimes Canelo is reported as 5'7 1/2 instead of 5'8. Make it happen, since Bud is so good?
@@andyc3012 canelo too big for Bud. He walks around cruiser easy. I dont think Bud can handle elite middleweight as catchweight like that

If you’ve got a kid and they want to box, this guy is the ultimate tutorial. Fluidity, technique, from footwork, angles, head movements, and sharp punches.

I don’t see it as unorthodox, quite the opposite. I see a man who just executes the fundamentals very very well.
Don't think I've ever seen someone through the hooks and jabs and not only look comfy doing it. But get such a perfect shot every time a crisp super hard punch at beautiful timing. His work is truly a work of art. Canelo hits Hard and you can hear he does by his noises when punching, but this dude calm as a cucumber and they look like the better punches. Best of luck to him. Humble man.
His hooks are not like most fighters' hooks. He doesn't throw full body weight into the hook so it's got much less power, but he gets to maintain balance and can quickly defend if there's a counter coming. In contrast, he's got more power in his jabs than most fighters. His left arm is insane. I think he can break down a brick wall with his jabs.

Found out about this guy a few days ago. Watched a few videos and didn't think much of it at first but then watched again and came off as wow! Not flashy, excellent timing and anticipation, good defence haven't see him getting tagged other than one time against Joe Smith Jr., getting in and out like a sniper, very efficient and accurate with the punches, use the whole ring never got caught on the ropes, good speed and endurance even through the last rounds, could jab the other guy to death all night long - a complete package.

But it is the base of his fighting style. Ots Soviet school of boxing where defence is feet. Its just that in fighting je modefys
This is ballistic style of striking. Its similar to Ali's infamous phantom punch. His footwork is his primary defense thus hands a bit low and not as much head movement. It's the style that works really well at long range. Of course in midrange and inside one needs to keep hands up and also utilize other forms of defense (upperbody movement).

He's just utilizing more of the Soviet pendulum step as he punches
175lbs is probably the most stacked division, it's filled with sharks.

The thing that is pretty frustrating with Jaime is that he trains with Erik Morales who’s a very underrated technician. He was a banger sure but he could absolutely box. He schooled Pacquiao, and in my opinion he was the more skilled fighter out of his other Mexican counterparts JMM and Barrera. Maybe Munguia is the same way but from what I’ve seen he’s like Margarito whose best defense is his face.

@@dallasdominguez2224google “pendulum step” and you’ll find some great instructional videos. Most basic explanation, it’s a type of footwork where the boxer bounces up and down/in and out. It’s great for being able to move in and out of range very quickly. The negatives are that it tires you out quicker(Bivol here has the stamina of a horse) and since both of your feet leave the ground, an opponent with a good sense of timing can… uh… time you.

I know very much that dimitry bivol doesn't ignore messages comi'n from anybody, if anyone of you or rather bloggers, please send my important message to bivol where the key of winning against beter iev is the body shot where the spot target is the front corner ribs left and right in between of that said target is the stomach! One hundred percent that your opponent will be absorb having the feelings of melting because all boxers always trained well the two sides of the body but didn't come to think nor imagine the very simple but if your box should accurately be delivered on said target, very very easy to win!

Mr Isaev past away R.I.P. He was very bitter on Dima because Bivol left him without any notice, "no goodbuy no F#$k you" this is Isaev quote. Isaev gave Bivol many years but as it happens many times , when fighter moves to professionals he changes the coach. It just was very sad to see a bitter old man.

I think canelo gonna be bobin, weaving and countering them big heavy punches with his head movement but if 1 hits it could be bad 🤔
Cant see anyone beating Beterbiev .. Beterbiev has knocked out everyone , holds centre of the ring .... BIVOL is great boxer but only won last 3 fights by UD .. Against Betetrbiev , your not going to keep him at range for 12 rounds , he will close the gap and land . If Beterbiev didnt have problems with his manager he would be number 1 in the division already ..
Beterbiev is slow flat footed and has weak chin. He's got heavy hands but he's only fought guys with poor defence so it works out for him. Bivol is a fast counter puncher with solid guard and strong chin. Beterbiev can't get close to Bivol and I think Bivol can put him down.

He didn't train with music unlike 99.9% of boxers. I hated this at my gym. We were there to train, not dance. I think that music makes fall into patterns and allows other boxers to time your punches.

The win over Canelo is nothing special, he is not LHW. Can Bivol's fighting style be applied against Beterbiev??? Beterbiev clearly has a complete variety of punches, power and accuracy better than Bivol. Beterbiev's skills are the same as Lomachenko's. I'm sure Bivol will lose the number 0.
