Flying over the Wasatch mountains near Nephi, Utah in a glider just to enjoy the wonderful rich fall colors of the changing leaves. Utah mountains have some of the best displays of color as the leaves change and this year was not a letdown. The glider is an ASW27 15 meter (50 foot) wingspan high performance glider capable of flying many hundreds of miles in a single flight while flying up to 175 miles per hour! I sure hope you enjoy this soaring and flying video and please let me know what you think of the view! Bruno
Yes!!! Thank You so Much. Just, WONDERFUL!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
What no hikers- nice one Bruno, you make it look so easy!!! Lovely views, Cheers Peter.
Wonderful to have you back! Still my favourite aviation KZhead channel!
Nice to see you back. The mountains look familiar.
Nice to have you back - looking forward to upcoming content.
Wonderful - thank you
It's good to see you back filming your soaring adventures.
Been a while, glad you’re enjoying the fall colors
Good to see something new from you, missed your videos
Beautiful, I certainly miss Utah
Glad to see you posting again
Thanks! :)
Miss you uploads! This was great!!
He's baaaack! Beautiful colors
Missed ya!
Beutiful!
I watched your videos for years. Great flight Bruno❤️
Hi Bruno, Glad to see you flying!! Thanks for the beautiful tour near your homebase. What a georgous day, fly as much as possible, time is going so fast you'll be glad you did.
Glad to see you back making videos.
It's definitely heaven, no doubt about that. Thanks Bruno for sharing!
Had to teach myself ridge soaring, was thrown in a sailplane and told to fly as close to the mountain until I saw the whites of the Koala's eyes then I was close enough !
Beautiful!
No ridges here in the flatlands of Eastern Ontario, but for sure the colours here this autumn are very bright and the best I've ever seen. The vivid colours of the leaves, and the variations on farm fields of crop (harvested and not) have made for some spectacular scenery to appreciate while soaring over the landscape this year. Getting any soarable weather and flying over it is such an awesome bonus in the soaring season. Glad to see you're enjoying the same there.
Thanks for sharing and saying hi! I was just back in Quebec a few weeks ago and the leaves were just really starting to get good. We live on an amazing planet. Cheers and keep flying! :)
Aspens! I live in NC and we don't have those. I guess our maples make up for that with the reds and oranges.
Thanks for sharing Bruno, I always enjoy your content.
Great colors!!
Missed your Vid 🥲Hope you start up again😉I know it adds a bullseye 🎯 but I know I love flying with you, even the hours long competition flights ☺️
Thanks for the kind words. Many more videos to come. I already have the footage, just need to get the time to edit and post them all. I probably have around 20 videos to come.
@@BrunoVassel looking forward to releases and so glad you back enjoying the Sky. I was pissed about them suspending your ticket 🙁 but we can leave that in the past and move onward and upward ☺️
Good to see you up and flying this morning [#41 viewer,10 minutes after posting],looking forward to Part 2 !
Beautifully 🙂
Awesome bois.
I just moved to Salt Lake City & did an awesome hike near Brighton ski resort after being inspired by your awesome videos! Really colorful scenery, words don’t do it justice - love the upload!
Nice!!! Welcome to Utah :) Brighton has some great hikes and you have a playground now out your back door for many years to come. Take care and hope you enjoy it here.
This area is like a giant playground for gliders. Can't wait for another videos!
Thanks for watching - plenty more to come.
Nephi residents know the San Pitch mountains or Red Cliffs is where to go camping, less crowded than Nebo.
I was shocked not to see a single person, ATV, or side by side at the top. The roads look like it is pretty easy access to get to the top by the Red Cliffs. Is it difficult or restricted and I just don't know it?
@@BrunoVassel Yeah large network of dirt roads that run the length of the San Pitch, most accessed by the canyons on the Sanpete County side. The one you see the most of in your video starts outside of Fountain Green, it's called Log Canyon. Most of the roads can be driven in a standard suv or truck.
I miss the fall colors. I live in southern Florida. We don’t get that kind of scenery here.
one of yer best vids. Thx! Can you fly on cloudy days? I think it's based on sun causing the updrafts, right?
That 27 flys great, you don’t need a JS-3.....wait...yes, YES YOU DO!
I think I can fit my left leg into a JS-3. All joking aside, what is the biggest pilot a 3 can fit? I have heard their cockpits are pretty tight. BTW, I love Jonkers so don't take my comments the wrong way.
Bruno's vеssel 🛫
Very nice. Are there any plans for uploading longer footages of this season in the near future?
Thanks for watching and asking. I have LOTS of footage from this year that needs to get edited. Let's just say the next 6 months should provide many hours of I think interesting soaring videos. Thanks for your patience.
3:48 Is that ALF's head carved into the mountain side? :D
Good to see you posting again! I'm a recent 27 convert - what flap setting were you flying the ridge?
Nice! I was flying dry. The winds were light so I didn't need to fly too fast. I was in flaps 3b for much of this. That is what I use between 57-71 knots when dry.

Can you attach a machine gun and/or missiles or bombs? Or are they too heavy?
Beautiful!!!
Beautiful!
