you do have over 300k subs, but yet I think i speak for everyone by saying that you have an UNDERATED channel. Straight to the point kind of perspective on all your subjects, you dont take 20mins to explain something. YEt, enough information to clearly understand. Keep up the great content for people like me that have no car mechanic training and yet could follow your instructions.

Great advice well presented. You've taught me some stuff and reminded me of stuff I'd almost forgotten. I always have a new (cheap) builders sheet in it's pack just in case - ideal to sit or kneel on. Another trick is, if your spare wheel is mounted under the vehicle, either when new, or a second hand purchase, put it in a bin bag, it keeps it clean. If it's a second hand vehicle, on a summer's day take it off and clean it then put it in a bin bag. Some vehicles (light commercial vehicles) if loaded the OEM jack might not be strong or tall enough, if there's room, carrying a bottle jack can help. Also when swapping wheels over and the vehicle is jacked up place one wheel (on its side) under the sill if the vehicle comes of the jack less damage - if any at all - will be done.

I've helped a bunch of ppl in 50 yrs across America. Simple stuff but they don't know! Your education videos are a public service. Now, just lifting the wheel is difficult.

The one thing we ran into with our Ranger truck was the jack was too short to raise it. Either make sure one has a tall enough jack to put under it. Very smart vid, thank you!

Good tip is to have a breaker bar in the car. Really helps take off those stubborn nuts 👍. Helped me when I got to work and had to change my front wheel as it was low

Excellent advice. Now tell me how NOT to feel anxious that the damn car is going to fall off the jack, when I'm re-mounting the spare tire. I even worry when the car is jacked and BLOCKED, that I'm going to get pinned under it. I always have my phone with me so I can call 911 if I have to. :-( :-(

You should show how to change a spare wheel like cars on a Nissan 300zZX Z32 where the spare tyre is deflated and the auto pump is not working…
Number 6 .decorative wheel nut covers.will be the most come across problem.
The Ford ones are the worst. First thing I do I rip them all off and into the bin!

Good video BUT you should NEVER put your legs under the car putting on a wheel if the jack slipped your legs are GONE
