Endgamegear employees mentioned that the coating in this dark frost is quite similar (to v2 white and black) but just a bit less smooth or more "rubbery". The difference must be really really small if you didn't notice any.

i have both mouse and yes the dark frost feels like a rubberized plastic while the white one is just really smooth

well, one thing is that the mouse 2 is a lil bit hollow, nothing else. i really hope that you can get it someday! totally the best mouse for different claw variants imo and you can somekinda palm it as well. i don't know about fingertip, i don't use it. the best of luck for getting this!

how do you feel about the clicks on this xm1r versus the np-01? i feel like kaihls on my gpw were insane but i wouldnt quite put them over my np01. not sure how it would go on the xm1 since the xm1 has perfect clicks with omerons besides the slight hollow feeling

For me the clicks of the xm1 I do not like, they are hard, not very smooth and with too much travel, this is what I liked the least about the xm1, could you confirm if the xm1r has softer clicks and with less travel (I have the white xm1 2020). I think the buttons on the xm1 are too tactile for me. ¿Those of the xtrfy m42 will be better?

Got my XM1 for about 2 weeks, it has been my main since. Can't express enough how I love this mouse the most among many I've tried including, fk1, viper ultimate, G703, Glorious O, Gwolves skoll
I have xm1 for a month right now, and I just love it. It’s a perfect mouse. I’ve tried ss rival, ec2-a, model o- and Gpro. Nothing is even close in terms of feeling
But I’ve changed my stock feets on tiger arcs 2, and tbh I regret that
The stock feets r good, and even smoother for me than tiger arcs

You can get used to any switches, although logitech's omrons are super light, so if you want that, I doubt that this mouse has it, since Logitech has really light switches

Would you say the XM1r is still the best wired mouse at the end of 2023? I personally prefer wired mice only and this mouse feels great in game, but it feels a little too long even when palm gripping and I feel like I can barely reach the scroll wheel when playing.

This mouse is perfect for me. Made for finger/ claw and it has a really good grip texture on it, the size is perfect,and it’s relatively flat, which I jitter click on minecraft ,so I think it adds stability. It’s also my perfect weight that I like. It’s clicks are perfect and I love how it’s kinda hard but it’s not to light, again perfect for jitter clicking it’s one of the only mice that I’ve actually been able to rlly jitter on

So far only laser mice have been 100% trouble free on the Raiden for me. Laser looks deeper in the surface. That’s why they recognize the very fine weave of the Raiden better than optical sensors.

Yo boardzy, Is it possile to build a gaming mouse? I have a viper ultimate and absolutey fucking hate the side buttons, clicks, and scroll wheel. Can I use the viper ultimates sensor in a different mouse?
If you can solder you can replace the switches on some mice, not the viper though because they're optical. If you have a 3d printer you can print a new shell. (Or pay someone online to make one for you) If you dont like the frips you could try lizzard skins, a lot of people are really fond of those. I think I've seen some Logitec 305/Viper shell swap mods, if you're okay with buying a second mouse and commisioned piece of plastic to serve as a base plate. At that point you might as well buy a new mouse though.

sold my hati s stardust for a xm1r. Hope it was a good desicion. It is modded with the v2 cable and after market feet. The hati s had a hint of perfection tarnished by some sloppy craftsmanship here and there, the scroll weel didnt feel like it would stand the test of time. The clicks where very nice (kailh gm 8.0) but i think the xm1r has even better ones. Plus i trust german engeneering just a bit more and the qc is decent from what i heard.
quick update: this modded xm1r is the best mouse i have ever owned, there is really nothing i would change on it, not one thing, weird.

@@pealecrim hi, i still use it mainly and it works still flawlessly, highly recommend it still. my wife loves the g203, for me it was a bit small for claw, the xm1r is perfectly shaped and the quality is oldschool logitech but with modern technology:)

Well depends if you would like to have different clicks or bigger feet. I don't think the changes are drastic and the v2 is still great, but if you're rich or there is something annoying in your current version then go for it. I think most people with original (2nd revision) are best sticking with it and wait for the wireless if they want one, but I personally will buy this too. Only skipped the RGB.
