  • Aljo has become somewhat underrated. It’s easy to forget just how elite he looked against Sandhagen and Munhoz. He’s just done himself no favours with his antics since the Yan fight. Yan is one of the most elite strikers in the UFC, and is the heavy favourite in the rematch, but I don’t think it’s going to be as easy as some people say. Yan is a notoriously slow starter and Aljo is always a submission threat. I almost want to see Aljo win as the meltdown from that would be intense.

Furthermore, I’m looking at sterling vs O’Malley and I think it’s going to be crazy! Sean seems more mindful about his coordination and sterling just goes beast mode. Bc Sean is so freaken fast, I believe if he just composEs himself while sterling goes off and can keep up with his quickness then he’ll be able to handle him. Sean needs to not allow sterlings craziness to exhaust him, which I believe he will do and win this fight! Let’s go O’Malley !

He was slowing down a lot towards the end before the knee happened. I dont understand how you could even call yourself Champ, or carry that belt around at all. Period..Not saying AJ shouldnt, its his job. Just yea i wouldnt take that belt anywhere with me, nor even let them sit it on the table in front of me. I would just let Yan have it infront of him, or put it between the two...Im sure AJ feels the same, i would hope. Now if he was dominating or even winning that fight, then thats different.

  • Fools like Anthony Smith "toughened" trough illegal shots like that and all he got was a string and an old piece of candy from Dana's coat jacket. Honestly can't blame Sterling.

  • I will always be of the opinion that Sterling baited that knee on purpose cause he was getting dominated. Why would a fighter sit in that position like that not once but twice?

  • I almost forgot Sterling had such a good 1st round given how Yan was picking him apart until the DQ. I hope he can maintain that kind of pace in the rematch we might see a classic.

    @ZachS33@ZachS332 жыл бұрын
    • If you didn't know that is exactly how Petr Yan usually fights. He gives up his first round to learn his opponent tactic and strategy and then he implements a new plan in the later rounds.

      @KyNamVan@KyNamVan2 жыл бұрын
    • @@KyNamVan I’ve never seen Yan on the back foot like that. Even when he gives up the first round he keeps a certain level of forward movement, meaning it took him longer to “download” what Aljo was doing than it normally does. Even with that Aljo clearly had an adrenaline dump and slowed down which contributed to Yan beating him down. Obviously it’s a long shot but if Aljo can stay in Yan’s face and throw different looks at him he 100% can win. Not saying he will, but he can.
