Aljamain is the First UFC Champion to win the title by getting knocked out.
Faking getting kod
@monterrey223 no mercy lmao
@@Blade_98 he wasnt faking, he legit could not stand up after that knee. He doesnt want to win the belt like that, cause now people are going to say that he is not the real champ. If you watch his interview he is devastated by the outcome cause he didnt want to win by a technicality
@@michaelwardlaw711 he was even confused when he heard the outcome
Illegal is illegal its not his fault

My point exactly
he is irrelevant
There is a differnce between cheating and BEING a cheat lol
He’s trying to be relevant again
@james Nas One guy took an easy way out after getting whooped, the other guy just has a cheating mentality and plans to cheat before the fight starts.
Sterling said he doesn’t think Yan should get an immediate rematch. He says that he won the match by the rules and doesn’t mind fighting someone else. He’s really ducking another ass whooping from Yan bc he knows he won’t win
He’s a punk and deserves an Oscar lol
I think it was the right call sterling couldnt continue after that illegal knee but that's a bitch move to try and say yan needs to fight someone else before he gets a rematch. I highly doubt Dana will make yan do that
@@baileycharlton2191 I agree, Yan is the baddest dude in the division and everyone know he’s the real champ
Where did he say this?
@@benjaminwelkens8118 I forgot which one but he said it in one of the multiple interviews he’s done since the fight
The "he deserves an Oscar" comment is so over the top and not fair to say... Because Oscars go to GOOD actors.
Naw he threw up in the hospital
Are you implying that getting kneed in the face doesn't hurt and he needed to act like it did? Do you even think, or do you just repeat what others say?
@@SuperBlueMoonWA people who make assumptions after asking a question before getting a response would be the ones who don't think. Never did I say he didn't get hurt. He played up his injury. He even said when he got hit he was thinking about a lot of different things when it happened. Hence nit concussed. Sitting up and rolling his eyes back several times. Not concussed. Doing an interview AND doing a promotional stand off for Twitter less than an hour AFTER with Henry for his next fight demonstrates hes not concussed. All evidence that hr played it up. Are you sure you're not the one following what others say? Do you think before you speak? I didn't imply anything. I out right said he was acting. Sure he got hurt. But wow was the acting unnecessary. Don't assume. Think before you question others if they think lol
@@God_of_Destruction_Kakarot woah woah... I ain't reading that.
@@Michael89240 naw man he played it up lol like the eye rolling and over exaggerated body language. Ya he was hurt and sure he might have vomited at some point. Im not saying he didn't get hurt just that he played it up and milked it.

@BILBO SHWAGGENS Jon: am i jokes to you?
matt hamill: am I a joke to YOU?
If I’m mounting and can’t break his grip and box Matt Hamil’s ears would it work?
Jon Jones drug dealer: "Am I a joke to you??"
why was smith even allowed to keep fighting? once a fighter is compromised by an ILLEGAL action by his opponent, the fight needs to be stopped.
Is TJ really putting a knee on the same level as intentional PED use?! 😂
Crazy right, a momentary lapse on judgement is not the same as deliberate ped use.
The dudes whack, one interview since back from cheating and thinks he’s got a clean slate all of a sudden
@@MrReiniC he definitely ain't wack in fighting

Troy Gordley lmao it was even the first two minutes. what was his takedown percentage again?
@@gordleyt most of aljo's strikes were blocked in the first round. petr knowcked him down and took him down. The only debetable round was round 2 which every judge gave to aljo. So congrats my man, you are officially a worse analyst than the judges.
Amazing comment bro
@@gordleyt ur blind
TJ talking about Piotr Yan cheating is like Lance Armstrong talking about.. anyone else on Earth cheating.
JUST A LITTLE "HARMLESS NEEDLING"
Petr Yan called TJ a cheater. TJ basically admitted to that and is saying “look who is also a cheater now”. TJ is a scumbag.
If tj and Yan fought tj would get his ass whooped but it would be a closer fight
Apparently breaking a debated rule in the heat of a fight is the equivalent of taking peds for years
Wasn’t for years, he was weak due to his weight cut for Cejudo and admitted he took a short cut

Jan isn’t the first person that beat Izzy so I doubt it lol
"Now you're a cheater too" - TJ Dillishaw welcoming Yan to the club.

Yo Yan roasting Jones is the best thing ever. 🤣
Yeah but yo Jones got lucky that it wasn’t a eye poke that coulda blinded or did a lot damage to Smith’s eye and Smith didn’t wanna go out like that but that Aljo knee was on purpose bro was on the ground for a couple seconds and then threw the knee 😂
@Alonso Lopes Jones had a fight with smith. In that fight Jones threw an illegal knee (similar to what Yan did). However, Smith told the referee he was fine and continued fighting afterwards
That's lionheart. When I first saw I felt like he was acting. Sure it was a nasty knee that hurt him but I really think he could of kept fighting but he was clearly acting like he couldn't stand up.
@Alonso Lopes yea I forgot about that too. MMA Dementia.
Needed to be said. Jones talks too much.
Mighty Mouse coming in with the best take I've seen on this whole situation

Yeah, absolutely on point.
Haha I’m just happy all the Yan fan girls lost their money. Idiots think he should keep the title throwing an illegal knee like that .
@Slique 2000 You completely missed the point dude. DJ didnt comment on wether it was illegal or not. He said it should not be illegal.
nah those are the rules in ONE if you fight in UFC you fight by their rules. it may make more sense over there but this is how it is
"becoming the Champ after getting KO'ed" sounds weird no matter how you put it
He fell victim to an illegal strike, therefore rendering him the undisputed champion of the world. Yeah, still weird.
Yeh that was some Neymar level acting
Lol this is reflective of the attitudes that the general public have towards many things regardling rules. Most ass backwards shit goin on with y'all.
@@Jacqueskneegro yeah as much as it's dumb however Yan fucking need him on the ground, surprise surprise
Not really. It was an illegal blow. If you end your opponent illegally, you lose the fight because you haven't abided by the rules of competition. It's something that 5 year olds can understand, so I don't know how people don't get that. No one thinks it's glamorous, but Yan's to blame for the outcome. People are also hypocritical when they scorn TJ for cheating but try to pardon Yan. Inconsistencies like that just show how salty people are.
Respect to Yan he is still calm when he losses his title
TJ Dillashaw : "Petr you are a cheater.." Nate Diaz: "oh, so you're a comedian now?"

#1 comment!!!! 😂👍
I was so confused with the fight commentary in the main event. Good to see others acknowledging it and calling rogan out on his bs.
Yeah Joe Rogaine needs to be fired. His commentary is horribly biased.
I love both J_R and DC. But for that Main event.... They made u feel like Adesanya had 2 belts under his weight during the entire fight. Then, u hear the score card and u realize how biased the commentary are (jugees fucked up with 10-8 rd tho) R2, 4 and 5 clearly to Jan. R3 Isra. R1 contested. So should have been smt like 48-47 / 49-46 for Jan.
He seemed very biased and unlike Rogan of old. He made some inaccurate comments imo slanted inaccuracies over and again toward Alj Sterling.
@@bastienml5602 I had it 49-46 with just the first to Israel, bit maybe I should rewatch that third round since a lot of people are saying Izzy won it..

Run it back. You're not the champ unless you actually beat the champ. Not like this..
I watched the whole thing last night. Sterling left the belt in the octagon. He shares your thoughts. The internet just needs clicks so nobody is talking about Sterling agreeing that’s not how you become champion.
I agree. He made the right choice though, no point in carrying on with a bad concussion and getting KO'd.
The only person Yan should be upset with is himself and his corner... Can't be mad at Aljo for catching a KNEE to the FACE.... LOL... But yeah run it back
@@FunnyDougy yeah he's trying to make his bitch move to win the belt look more credible by saying "oh I didn't want to win like this so I left the belt" bs, he will still be calling himself champ after taking a hiding
I agree!. Should've been a no contest.
Someone translated what Yan said in the UFC post fight interview video and I copied it here just to let the fans understand what Yan actually said: "I did not really hear the coaches, I was focusing on his hands (they were off the ground), I thought he was, like, squatting, I did not realize his knee was on the ground." He later added: "That was a championship round, the belt is on the line, I was winning the fight, I would not risk it all by deliberately doing something illegal" Credit to * Dima Saginbaev*
Thank you for that. Yes I feel he had nothing to gain from cheating and he couldn't of thought he would get away with something so blatant.

Sterling saying the fight was highly competitive is interesting. From what I saw Yan was clearly winning that fight.
Sterling was in control of the fight for the first round and a half. It wasn't until he gassed from his insane pressure did Yan start to take over. It was competitive, but it wasn't going to stay that way.
Yan was about to KO that man
@UBI lol I don't understand the gameplan. Did he really think he could keep that pace for 5 rounds? Yan didn't even have to try to get takedowns. Dude was damn near falling by himself because of exhaustion. His takedown attempts were quarter assed. It got embarrassing.
@@EF-wy3di he was knocked down and also slammed in the first round ?
@@EF-wy3di He was throwing tonnes in the first round but Petr honestly looked like he was mitigating almost all of it. Idk if you can even say Aljo was in control, it looked more like Petr was in control of letting Aljo bust his load. Just my opinion though
Dana: "Aljo went to the hospital. He's cleared. Nothing wrong with him." .. Well there you go 😂
It was still an illegal blow, and the ref should have immediately ended the fight when it happened. Yes, I'm sure Aljo could have continued, but he should not have had to make that decision.
Most guys who get actually knocked out are fine and cleared after a trip to the hospital to be fair.

@Burt Gummer I think it’s a terrible situation for Alja to be in. He’s fatigued and beat up, his is he supposed to know what is from the illegal knee and what is from the fight. And if he fights, Yan is gaining the advantage from the illegal strike. It shouldn’t be Alja’s call, and the ref should base it on how hard the strike was. If you illegally knee some this hard it should be an auto DQ. Not fair to fighters in Alja’s position otherwise. Or make these strikes legal like DJ said.

Yan is one stoic dude.
If he dies, he dies. - Petr Yan

The ending is gold.
Colby's tweet made me, literally, laugh out loud
Yan roasting Jon Jones like a boss 😂😂
Yup, I forgot all about jones with the illegal knee. What a hypocrite
he forgot to mention the multi drug cheating as well
@@snoopythedog3266 didn’t he get caught for coke?
@@camerongirgus7680 Yup after he hit a pregnant women with his car. Fled the scene on foot, came back to his car to pick the remaining coke and fled again.
@@MegaZack61 thats some proper professional sportsmanship example going on here :D :D :D
I like DJ's take on this. Indeed, stalling a fight like that shouldn't be allowed, you are doing absolutely nothing being on your knees like that
I agree, what if someone just scoots around the octagon with both knees down? It is a retarded rule and being on two knees shouldn't give you a window of invulnerability.
@@a.wyattmann4370 Made me remember this kzhead.info/sun/iKeQhNapf2mHoZs/bejne.html
absolutely
@@nicolasherreragonzalez8037 HAHA I forgot about that episode
If the shoe was on the other foot and your career was over because of it or permanently damaged for life, you will be crying to commission office that it was illegal strike & seeking 💰. There are rules for a reason. People can die from what they’re doing. Most don’t even get paid a lot to do it.
Tj is the last person that's allowed to be talking shit 😂😂 pillashaw at it again
count on dillweed to show his class. DJ's comment carries a lot in my mind.
Shame about Yan. He was just about to close the show.
He wasn’t going to finish aljo
@@solosolo8610 Wake up... Aljo was about to get finished his legs weren't even working properly thats why he started doing those lazy takedown attempts.
@@ingo98 he was tired yeah but he wasn’t hurt to me yan was frustrated and thought he was losing so he threw a illegal knee to end the fight
@@solosolo8610 lol no... Yan was ragdolling him... Outwrestling the wrestler... He was about to get finished.
@@solosolo8610 You were the only one that saw Petr losing that fight. Petr was never in any danger, Aljo was rocked multiple times and losing every exchange. By the end, of the fight, he was a punching bag with pathetic attempts for a takedown. That doesn't justify the knee, but it was very clear that Aljo was losing.
Yan throws illegal knee* Everyone: (in stock) wow 😯 Rogan yells: wow this is crazy if aj is hurt which clearly he is, yan will be disqualified and sterling would be champ! Sterling hearing rogan: all of sudden is hurting more. *rolls back on his back. Cue the acting debut. 😂 Yan face said it all
Shameful way to win a belt
joe fucked up big last night ! main event was worse
That announcement team should be ridiculed. Rogan is a fool for that one....
I've seen stuff like illegal knees go to technical decisions which is probably the best outcome for that tbh.
TJ had a hell of a bold statement about cheaters.
Dana White Said Aljo Came back with no concussion from hospital
Haha right. Icing on the cake
We all knew that was the case this guy has the acting ability of jussie smollett
You both take a knee from a ufc champion and try to get up and fight
@@justreact3129 these are clowns ,no lives ...leave them.
If I was sterling I would fake it too 🤣. They definitely need to rematch as I don’t see him as the real champ. Hopefully he makes some adjustments because he was burnt out by round 3.
The knee was illegal, but to win the belt like that is a complete embarrassment. Mark my words this will be the only time he will have the belt . He's a fools champ.
Like fools gold, whereas Yan showed the real value of combat competency too bad he lacked on the sportsmanship side of things lol great fighter tho
Your making it sound like it was his fault to get hit with the knee
@@WalkToPoland he didn't think it was illegal when he thru it, shame as he was dominating
@@gloriaromo8106 I wasn't, and it was illegal. But how he overplayed it, and to win a belt like that. Smh should be win by DQ no belt and petr lose some of his purse. Even dana said, he was checked out and nothing wrong with him
@@delsan8288 Are you telling me dana knows what state aljo was in before checking in with the doctor.😂 1. Dana white is a compulsive liar. Dana never said anything like that stop lying he said aljo is getting checked on by the doctors
That "you did it" from Jon Jones was like, "great job taking the easy way out what a warrior!!!"
its good to loose thats when u learn, loosing is a must!
"Dober is the most underrated fighter in the sport" Joe Rogan
Man says this about a different fighter every other card.
Yep.Joe Rogan became a parody of himself..
Glad I'm not the only one to catch that load of bull crap
He fought his guts out and never gave up for an instant even tho he was being just dominated ... maybe Islam was just levels better. See what happens as Islam fight the "better" guys
While Joe was hella off tonight, Drew is still a stud. He fought off what would've had many guys finished in round 1. Yes he lost but to a very very dominant fighter.
Ben Askren: I was illegally kneed too!
Right 😂😂 lol
"You know i was getting down" - ben "cruz" askren
Jone's only loss is a DQ via an illegal strike imagine the irony in that lmao
i like mighty mouse’s input, i think i agree with him. never thought of it like that
