Woodley reached the top and lost motivation. He already thought of himself as the greatest. He LITERALLY said during 235 fight week that Usman doesnt motivate him. That he already beat the greats, and that beating the new guys became mundane. This is a horrible mindset for a person whonwants to reign for a long time.

He dropped Whittaker and beat him for 2 rounds then tore his knee; and still lost a close fight 48-47; and he lost a stylistically bad matchup to a bigger Brunson (and he tore his ACL 10 weeks ago) after a year off recovering from injuries. He’s losing to the best in the world; there’s no shame in that. I swear you pathetic casuals know NOTHING about MMA and have never thrown a punch much less absorbed leg kicks or dealt with serious injuries whilst mid-fight.

Fans trynna grasp to an idea that Tyron was more than an overhand right and wrestling is super strange. The only thing that changed was dudes realized if you pressure strike Tyron it eliminates his explosiveness. Rory did it and then others emulated that same tactic and it worked. Till and Sage are prime examples of taking it to fast. Till should do an entire wrestling camp with Charles, work on conditioning and start putting the M in the MMA. Putting all your cards into a straight Left, like a certain Irishman doesn't work anymore. Also comparing Charles and Darren is foolish. Charles was a bonus machine, the dark horse before his complete resurgence.
