Hope you can explain it to your mum it was for an educational purpose :D A dollar is worth the "Free 2 months Trial" than paying in full!

Like some of the ones being so busy you didn’t know where to look made the scene so much creative to me & creates such a mood I love. I can’t help but feel like some of the extreme disorientation these artists created were intentional. But I guess that shows that art is all subjective lol

    • @@pwnisher It's really hard times for artists and well, people in general in my country. We live in Iran, it's been years that political issues have limited those who look into creativity and productivity. People here suffer from both a government that does any cruelty in the name of religion, in which they will not pay any attention to artists unless there's a piece about religion or has a "Down with America" tag on it. And then heavy sanctions. You wouldn't believe the situation. 3 years ago a USD was 30,000 rial. Now a USD is 300,000. Everything here now costs 10 times more than 3 years ago. I quit gaming because I could not and can not afford a brand new video game despite me and my family being in the upper middle of the. society. One can't access even KZhead without VPN.

  • I feel like you should choose like 20 submissions and then select randomly, because at this level it's impossible to decide without being biased... like I'd probably disqualified the cel shader one in the first or second round, and kept the space glass box to the last. Right now, in order to win, it makes a lot of sense to study your tastes, which is not something you might want. But great competition in general, I feel like this concept could be applied in lots of other areas! It's just win, win win. Artists get motivation to perfect a piece, exposure, and great new hardware if they win; you get exposure; the hardware vendors get exposure; and the 3d cgi industry overall gets exposure. And the public gets to watch amazing montages.

    • Well if intention was the only criterion, a black image would be a valid submission. It's hard to put into words what's required if you allow lovecraftian submissions. Beauty is certainly one, and an apparent match to the original vision of the artist another - which in this case clearly wasn't to strong (not that I could do it better).

Your other animation lack the right sense of motion, and alot has to do with the illusion of 3d being reveal thru close object of your motion picture. If ur not doing actual 3d gotta play with ur distance between enrionment and motion frames. The one where you got the mountain the earth and all that, i rrally like how you paid attention to detail on the shade. The earth could definetly be kore center but it isnt only truly noticeable because you have 1 peak on ur mountain and no distraction to the symetry of your animation. When you do something off balance , its an interrsting art as the best appeal has the audience distracted from the symmetry with either motion objects or optical illusions, like diffrent forms that beg the questionnwhich one is bigger and which one is smaller, when you add those in ur fram ur off center objext dont shine as much. As good as you are with your shade, u need to play with light reflection aswell. . So far you have the design and how to make them down path, and i knownyou pride yourself of that, dont let that mess with ur mind you will plateau in your development otherwise. Personally where i a student and be at ur level the best thing for ke would be to play with details fill in details.. add more layers to ur shades, make the environment be in motion rather than the avatar, playy with background object and how they change the closer your animation get to it.. add wind stream to see what the view becomes or when the eyes ends up looking thru the flow of the wind stream etc..

    • Oh its Cinema4D.... Can I take your knowledge and tutorials and apply them to Blender3D or its impossible with Blender? I know Cinema4D is much powerful than Blender...but also I have no money unfortunately....Q.Q

    • @@versatale no, no, no I have tried Blender and C4D. And I personally think, Blender is more more more powerful. Because Blender has many super crazy stuffs, like realtime renderer, cloth brush, open vdb ( it's super super crazy ), etc. And also, Blender always be updated quickly. And Blender has 1000x more powerful UI than C4D. But, it's my personal think. It's up to you And also, it's not only about your software, but also about your skills. Your main tool to make some art is *your brain*

    • @@muhammadrakhafadhilah5147 c4D i believe has real time render? Anyway I am with you about blender. I really like it. Also i have learned way too much on Blender to change it now. What I wished is to have a RTX card and E-Cycles, around (250$/year) that makes the Cycles engine 4 times faster. My amd Gpu is rx 580 and sometimes it crashes due to opencl. Anyway everything can be overcome as long as passion is there. I wish you luvk 🙏♥️

  • You should look more often in the chat if you stream this. Maybe a short look after every render? You misst so much hints where you were wrong or missed something like the hand-drawn 3D character in the scaled scene. And the 3D printer in the background. Or the corridor-Logo on the barrel in the easter-egg-render
