When you have defensive schemes specifically geared to stop you night in and night out and still crush the record in roughly 500 fewer games than Allen. We're lucky to be witnesses this once in a lifetime talent. Hope he has 3 or 4 solid years left to really make the record untouchable!

@@cjsiglerii steph is, at worst, the 2nd best point guard of all time, and even that's debatable at this point he might be first. But he did not cause this 3 point revolution that's pretty much a myth, the league was already trending that way, if anything he just expedited the process a little bit but nothing beyond that
@@kenan-b you can look up graphics and see the very steep incline right around 2013 which is when steph was coming into his own. The game was trending that way no doubt, but to say he sped it up a “little” is a massive understatement. If he wasn’t the one to make the shots he did nobody else would’ve been allowed to take those shots.
Can we appreciate also the greatness of reggie miller? He's the only player in top 20 3 pt list that played in 80s, thats tuff knowing that the 3 pt shots is not a thing back then than now.

Watching Steph since 2012. Seen him growing up, winning, creating magical moments & most importantly a guy who changed the game of basketball. Finally, he broke the record. Very happy to witness this moment and curry Era. This will be remembered and stay with me till I grow old.
Man I grew up seeing a little bit of Magic and Bird, then witnessed every season of MJ being the GOAT against Barkley, Drexler, Stockton, Malone, GP and Kemp, Miller, Penny and Tim Hardaway, Grant Hill. I saw the dominance of the big men, Hakeem, Patrick, Zo, Mutumbo and Shaq then saw the torch passed to Kobe. I watched Iverson, Garnett, T-Mac, Vince. Then the evolution of LeBron, Wade, Melo, KD, Harden and the greatness of Steph and they have made way for the newer generation. Giannis, Embiid, Lillard, Luka, Morant, Trey, LaMelo… Through all those generations the greatest I’ve seen was MJ, but my goodness Steph has been unquestionably the greatest shooter and arguably the most influential to the way the game is played. I’m honored to have witnessed it all and can’t wait for what’s next. I love this game.

You can just tell so obviously how much it meant to him. I dont think I remember seeing him like that after his titles or MVP even. We all have that one completely impractical fantasy goal we desire the most in the back of our heads, seems like this one might have been his back in the day.

Went to the Hornets basketball camp for kids from 94-97. My first year Dell Curry came and I asked him how do we shoot like he does. He taught as his 3 hook( that hold up the net) trick. Years later I played against Steph. First game I was on 🔥, afterwards he asked where did I learn to shoot like that? I said your Dad taught me back in the day 😂 . He said I’m have to have a talk with about giving away family secrets 😂. He came back the next game on 🔥. Im 2-2 against him all time but he is the greatest of all time. Proud of you Steph. You were one of my favorite people to play against when we were younger, you’re one of my favorite players to watch then and now man congratulations from one Queen City baller to another. Salute to you 🐐

Bron have been Bron since high school. Polarizing, generational talent, and a man child. Steph is ALL hard work and relentlessness. Its crazy how he's become the perfect nemesis/warrior for Bron. My goodness. You can't help but to marvel at Steph Curry's shooting skill. He has, at least, 5-8 years left in his career, and he's already broken the the 3 pt record! Even if he only makes 3 threes per game, for the next 5 years, (that's not even counting the rest of this year) that would still be another 1,230 threes... It would be a massive miracle if ANYONE ever comes close to his numbers. He's a BEAST
