Reggie is too humble. He played a HUGE part in Steph’s journey I’d imagine. Only Steph can say, but even having a bar to cross was due to Reggie and Ray. Without them, he is a rocket ship shooting out into the endless void. Reggie seems to have given that rocket ship a direction and star to aim toward, ultimately surpassing it.
What's even more beautiful and a full-circle moment is that when he was first drafted he was hoping for the Knicks and then he secured such a monumentous accomplishment playing against them! many people can do that actually. its difficult, but not as difficult as you think for some people. 45% against NBA defense and a 0.4 second release is more difficult than 105 open 3's from a perfect spot IN RHYTHM. once you throw up a few shots from the exact same spot, your accuracy increases dramatically for the next shots in that spot, hence the importance of rhythm

I've been watching hoops for a few decades now and Steph is the best pure shooter I have seen. There may have been better shooters 50 years ago that I never saw, but since the 80s there hasn't been a more deadly shooter. The dude literally has 10 eyes on him when he has the ball. Watch tape of game 6 against Memphis- this is a top defensive team and they're literally yelling at one another when Steph has the ball. Watch how dejected teams are when he hits those daggers. It's crazy. I see kids in gyms and driveways trying to shoot like him now.
