I just don’t understand. If he hates the “industry” than why does he care about being on their charts? To be fair, I think most people could have seen this coming. It’s pretty widely known that if you’re the guy in your office that everyone hates, you’re fucked. You won’t advance and you won’t excel. Because you need to work with people. Including people you don’t want to work with. When you run around screaming “F the industry, it’s bad, it’s corrupt, it’s wrong.” What did you really expect???

Sad part, it is not just the music industry but the whole system who picks and chooses not based on talent but obedience who gets ahead and who is the next big thing. The moment I saw the image of Encanto as Independent Number 1 I was like wtf? How? Leave it to Tom to provide the receipts. Disney can be classified as Independent? I find it awesome that The Brave came in at #4 when going up against a 97 Billion Dollar Company. However, it shows how corrupt and convoluted the Music Industry is. You deserve the recognition for all your hard work, dedication and for putting the truth out there, about the rigged music industry as well as all the truths you put out there in your lyrics. I believe your music has already reached the top of the music charts and billboard just needs to quit taking big corporate music label’s dollars to have their artists represented in the top chart positions and put those who truly have earned there place on top. Keep doing what you do the truth shall bring you justice so long as enough of the people you reach believe in equality and justice for all . United we stand so we say. Facts . I've been a producer and mixing engineer for 18 years professionally (I work mostly with regional and independent artists but I've done plenty of major label work ) These are known barriers that in the past only have been over come by money or a familiar name and in the rarest of occasions hard work until the one of the first two happens. When my husband past 10 years ago every year I'd share a fav song from KZhead to my face book page and family and friend would all comment this year your song about cancer really hit home so I posted it with a tribute to my husband and only 2 family members saw it that shows that KZhead and Facebook control what people see and they don't share things they don't like, I think your a giant among little men keep up the good work

When I lived in Colorado, a local metal band Allegeaon gained traction (rightly so, Accelerated Evolution is one of the best prog metal songs second only to Persephone's The Majestic of Gaia), got signed to Metal Blade. Found them when MySpace was still big (I believe the CIA/NSA secretly bought out Tom to ruin MySpace to implement Facebook [U.S. Govt funded creation of]. They had to ask for donations, when their touring van broke down. The label was no help.

I don't see how a temporary hype train around an objectively worse version of the concept grew to be a global force. Remember how we used to be able to actually customize our pages? Like serious customization. You could put scripts on your page to load nearly anything from other sites, media players, and even whole ass games. Weird how we got less freedom and more surveillance.

I respect that Tom isn't making a big deal out of the fact that to cooperate with Billboard, he got rid of "packaged" deals on his site. Like you used to be able to buy the CD packaged with a shirt and other stuff, he's done that every CD release and I'm sure it brings in decent revenue. With this album he had to remove that so as to help the "data collection agency" count the album sales. He lost out on cash doing that, and he's not even really complaining about it and that's legit. Don't see anyone commenting on it either so yeah.

I have not been a fan of rap since the Sugar Hill gang in the eighties. I'm rapidly approaching my sixties, However I came across a short by Tom and was hooked due to his lyrics. The one that hit me the most was the system. I've learned about it 20 years ago and been fighting against it since then. I appreciate his work Immensely. I wish him the best and in my opinion, as an independent he is freaking awesome. Tom if you read this I offer you many many blessings and well wishes and great more success. I've been a producer and mixing engineer for 18 years professionally (I work mostly with regional and independent artists but I've done plenty of major label work ) These are known barriers that in the past only have been over come by money or a familiar name and in the rarest of occasions hard work until the one of the first two happens. Bro as a 50 year old Heavy Metal/ Death Metal vocalist I learned just how crooked and shitty the music industry truly is. I went through it in the 90's and I learned very quickly how to stay away from them and their money grabbing hands. Well Done !!! & I hope your success continues !!!
When I lived in Colorado, a local metal band Allegeaon gained traction (rightly so, Accelerated Evolution is one of the best prog metal songs second only to Persephone's The Majestic of Gaia), got signed to Metal Blade. Found them when MySpace was still big (I believe the CIA/NSA secretly bought out Tom to ruin MySpace to implement Facebook [U.S. Govt funded creation of]. They had to ask for donations, when their touring van broke down. The label was no help.
I was so excited for them signing{edit} with Metal Blade. I know now they were signed to be stifled and silenced. Global-Corpos tells society what society thinks they like.

I respect that Tom isn't making a big deal out of the fact that to cooperate with Billboard, he got rid of "packaged" deals on his site. Like you used to be able to buy the CD packaged with a shirt and other stuff, he's done that every CD release and I'm sure it brings in decent revenue. With this album he had to remove that so as to help the "data collection agency" count the album sales. He lost out on cash doing that, and he's not even really complaining about it and that's legit. Don't see anyone commenting on it either so yeah.

I have not been a fan of rap since the Sugar Hill gang in the eighties. I'm rapidly approaching my sixties, However I came across a short by Tom and was hooked due to his lyrics. The one that hit me the most was the system. I've learned about it 20 years ago and been fighting against it since then. I appreciate his work Immensely. I was on the fence about this dude, but he has won me over. He stands for what "We the people" should stand for. Life is rigged, this country is in tatters, and the system is vulnerable, if we could stop arguing amongst each other and focus on the real enemy. The government counts on us being distracted and is scared to death of the thought of the people united.
I've loved Tom since I first heard him, my few friends loved him so I got really into him too.
