I am a 60 year old lady and had and had a 30 yr meth addiction. My son asked my to listen to SOBER. that song inspired me to quit. Today I am 6 months sober and listen to that song every morning before I start my day. To remind myself I can beat this BATTLE. Then came the song CANCER. As a 2 time cancer survivor, that song has hit home so HARD that every time its played it still brings me to tears cause I AM that cancer survivor and ALWAYS fighter!!!! I wanna thank Tom and Nova from the bottom of my heart. They have been the inspiration that has SAVED MY LIFE!!!!!!
Hey survivor sister, 3 time GI cancer survivor here.. my last round was 2018 when he only had 2 albums out, and I got the whole oncology ward listening to him. When he came out with cancer, the head nurse actually called me up to see how I was doing, and all geeked out that he shone a light on the cancer issue. I am never been so proud of him than when he came out with this song and cancer.. I will always love him :-)

I'd say much longer then that.. When you consider how long it actually took to write, perform, gather the videos and edit. Tom's a real one for everything he does.. I have never heard a rapper...hell, any artist, be they a singer, actor, painter...do anything like this. Something so positive for the people who are the reason they are able to make a living doing what they do. This is such a great video. It teared me up watching it. Love you, your music. My best friend was featured in this video. I hadn't heard from him since January and just found out a few hours ago that he passed away shortly after the last time we spoke. He was more than just a friend, over the last 17 years that I've known him, he's become family to me; he was one of the sweetest people I've ever known and I'm going to miss the hell out of him. I had a proud grandpa moment today. I was listening to this song, my grandson who just turned 2, heard it and ran up to me so he could see it and listen better. Weed won't hurt you. It's very medicinal. I'm 61 and very arthritic. I quit drinking about 25 years ago when I fell in love with a non drinker. But I will never quit smoking MaryJane. It was a gift from God and I never give away gifts. Much respect though. Aren't Tom MacDonald and Nova Rockafeller just the best? New music with smarts and a happy spirit. Vulnerable too.
