Masterful how he played dumb, then disinterested, then interested in winning, all to get Jon to do exactly what he wanted. Sean's passing really hit me quite hard. I started binging cats does countdown when i was going through a rough patch in my life and it just made it that little bit easier to deal with, to laugh and smile in a dark time. RIP Sean, the comedians comedian, the man who could make anyone laugh. You were a legend and you will forever be remembered.

I think he came up with the "rectum of the year"-story purely because he enjoyed nearly suffocating Claudia in the process. He knew he wouldn't, so he kept going for the fun of it. And it's so damn funny with all the little details. Jimmy knew John well enough to create opportunity for some perfect comedy moments.

It's so weird to me. Being from Switzerland I had never heard of Sean before seeing lots of british influencers and celebs posting about his passing. I decided to watch one tribute videos posted and I believe that since then I must've binged all the best Sean Lock bits that are out there. I instantly fell in love with his humour and became obsessed. So the sadness I feel about his death is a really odd one because I only got to know him after he died. I wish I had found out about this man earlier.

Comedians usually just clap and chuckle politely at another comedians jokes. But Sean Lock made other comedians CRY with laughter at his antics. I think that is what made him so special...he could make other comedians laugh so hard! That's a special talent. He will be missed.

It's hilarious for sure, but there's another side to it that gets me. You can hear in Rachel's voice that she's shitting it about doing a bit by herself. She soldiers through to her credit, gets a few chuckles, but Sean comes in right as it's about to die on its arse. Noticed him do it a few times on the show: he was always quiet and respectful of anyone else doing their thing, but if they weren't getting the audience or were losing the thread, you'd see him jump in and give them something to bounce off or get the audience going again. No wonder he was so liked and respected.

@A Lai well, considering that Jimmy Carr had his hair transplant during lockdown and Sean lock was in series 21 episode 4, with Jimmy and his new hair, I find that somewhat hard to believe. And if that’s CGI then CGI has improved like you wouldn’t believe. Spreading conspiracy theories when it comes to someone’s passing, is horrifying and incredibly hurtful to those who ACTUALLY knew him. May I suggest that you never repeat such blatant rubbish ever again, for everybody’s sake.

Sean lock is the mate/ friend you knew who pushed the boundaries. 99.9% of people's humour offend everyone, but that rarity of a special human being who is just a genius to make you laugh and not offend you. Once you have that skill of laughing at yourself and being truthful to your thoughts people know its not to offend its to make you laugh. I am so so gutted that this genius of a man who stayed on his journey of humour never changed. I will truly miss him and he has left a lot of people with funny ,stupid and belly ache laughs for ever. As I have only recently discovered 8 out of 10 cats, on Australian tv, I have only known Sean's humour for a short time. In that short amount of time I have developed a large amount of respect for him and am now completely shocked to learn of his death. Belated condolences to his friends and family. A very funny man we've lost

Sean Lock never had an extraordinarily high profile before he passed away, but he most certainly does now. Almost every You Tube clip on which he features now has literally millions of hits. One of this country's greatest, funniest ever comedians. RIP Sean.

Lord, I forgot how much effort he put into his mascots. Quite extraordinary for a series of one-offs.
I'm pretty sure they had a props team make up random shit but the performers brought them to life.

Ye i always appreciated the amount of effort people put on their mascots on this show, even though initially I thought the segment lasted a bit too long. :P Same with Joe Wilkinson - I've grown to like him slowly!
@@Puggo_Huggo I'm sure it wasn't 'all their own work' but the ideas and writing is specific to each presenter. I think they play a big part in the mascots and I would prefer not to learn otherwise :/
The genius thing about Sean is, even before he opened his mouth and actually answered to anything, he had everyone giggling and laughing, because you just know whatever comes out will not be what you expect 😂

Legends always leave too soon, Bill Bailey said even in his last days he was still cracking jokes. Never knew him but wish I did, I’m devastated and will miss him terribly.
Yeah, Harry Hill said the same; he said that Sean spent some time in hospice care, for a bit of a rest; when Harry heard, he called Sean up, and asked him how it (the hospice care) was; Sean replied with something like: “It’s ok…and the sex is amazing” He was simply fantastic. Fuck, I’m gonna miss him.

I only discovered Sean Locke in the past year or so on KZhead clips like this. He quickly became one of my favorite contestant/comedians on these panel shows and I was so sad to see he had passed away recently. I'm just so thankful that there is a treasure of clips like this on KZhead to enjoy when I need a good laugh. He was just so damn funny. I love his absurd sense of humor so much.
I just discovered Sean Lock and I'm so sad he's not here anymore. He seems like such a wonderful person. I'm going through some tough times right now and watching his videos makes me feel so much better. Wish he was still here. But I'm happy he existed. Thank you for the laughs Sean.💖
