@@nadnerb2k Really immature bro. Just disappointing.
You have an awesome sense of humor especially because it lets other panelists to also show off their humor. And you really do seem to have this weirdly perfect TV show host look. Sean really was awesome too, I really mis his humor... A fan from Estonia
I'll never forget Sean's line "that's a challenging wank"
Yes. But not as bad as Sean thought.
@@markneedham8726 🤣🤣🤣
Hahahahaha awesome comment, great memories
Or Sean just losing it to Joe's poem
but some how , i don't think it would be
“I won’t spit on you…” and the rest is history…

That kinda hurt hearing that in my head.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO............AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..........NoOoOoOoOoOoOOOOoooooOooooooo
My favourite Sean Lock joke was on cats, when he pulls out the shoplifter of the year trophy and quips that he didn't win it.
... and even the professional comedians took a few seconds to catch on.
The worst thing is, everybody kinda knew it was coming but the delivery was just gold
I never watched it. My binge isn't ending soon apparently..
It warms my heart to know that Jon still can't win Carrot in a Box.
Sean retired as undefeated champion
@@Stu5727 I hope they put a carrot in the coffin, just so it's in the box forever with him.
It probably warms Jon's more ❤😢
It warms my heart to know that now Jon never will!
They should put a turnip in Jon's box, just so he thinks he's won for a second....
Sean's baby seal hunt did it for me I laughed so much I nearly choked.
It was like a trolley dash
@@ViciousOS No wonder he got into the world finals
That and the RNLI embezzlement. It was so specific and hilarious.
Watching Claudia completely lose it next to him amplified the experience greatly.
I wish you had...
I love the shows where Sean was laughing harder than anyone else. Whenever he was really enjoying himself, it was just magical on TV. It didn't happen much but every once in a while Sean would break down laughing.
Joe's naming penises poem... man that had me in tears.
@@gmurph623 I Iaughed so hard I had an asthma attack. Worth it
Johnny Vegas’s fake head…
The thing with Sean laughing was that it was very hard to get him to laugh like that. If Sean was laughing harder than everyone else then you know it was a good joke.
@@gmurph623 "...please stop"
You just know the SECOND they pitched carrot in a box and Sean went 'we should do that' he was already plotting how to destroy Jon in the most twisted and hilarious way possible
Right?? And he would have known he had to seem a bit casual about/disinterested in the game idea or his scheming wouldn't work!
My favorite segment with sean was when he read the kids book about the tiger going to the pub
i liked the seal clubbing
“The tiger was thirsty and needed something to wash down the zookeeper he’d just eaten.”
I've seen a lot of these tiger books recently in shops for kids .... the illustrations look so similar and I give a good chuckle inside when I see them .
@@chimpinaneckbrace they should have made it n donated the money to his family
@@DeanMoxley87 Pavel’s family too. And the darts team.
Sean was the only celebrity death that actually made me cry. I realized that through the dark days of my life, it was his humour and banter that really got me going back on track, the cynical jests and his ability to always sacrifice himself to keep a joke going to avoid the dull moments on a show. We lost a titan in the industry and I feel he was so underrated and underappreciated prior to his death, I hope he truly knew how important he was to so many of us.
You put it beautifully, Pew. Thank you.
Sadly I went through it twice. The first being Robin Williams.Really knocks the world off it's axis for a while to lose those that bring so much laughter into ones life.
He was my favourite comedian. Absolutely marvelous.
@@Z4Zander Yeah - Robin's passing really hurt too. They both brought so much joy to the world.
@@lrimmf I don’t want to preach to you guys too much but just remember that nothing is nothing (0=0). Life must always live and true death is truly dead (the 1st law of thermodynamics rules out the nonexistence of any piece of existing information, energy or matter).
I'm so happy Susie and Rachel are in on the jokes. That makes me appreciate them and the show so much more!
of course they are... Jimmy would be immediately fired if they weren't
@@marks.6480 I figured a lot of his style of comedy is sometimes simply not opposed out of fear/respect of the authority so they never realise anyone is hurt by it. I'm just saying I'm happy Jimmy checks in with everyone in before. Especially the ones like Rachel and Susie who aren't comedians.
Not only is Susie in on the jokes, she actually asked to be in on the jokes.
They may not have a choice.. It's a man's world out there.
@@LaughingVegetables Lol get out
“I would … until the neighbors complained about the smell.” That made me laugh so hard I nearly busted a gut.
I just about broke my teeth on the table
I was expecting him to say "noise". When "smell" came out I literally did a spit take 😂
It's an old joke, possibly an old Scottish joke, but definitely an old joke! Heard it nearly 20 years ago from a Scottish gut!
Did you mean "Nut"?
Jimmy thinking he's Jimmy Savile there.
My favourite sean lock bit was the big fat quiz rant he went on about Mitchell Brooke primary. Never fails to make me laugh
that was so funny.
Only Sean can say that n people still find it funny. What a legend

@@idsertjesse Fackin' disgrace!

"You can't write tears Jimmy" RIP Sean Lock
it's fun to know that Rachel and Susie are on-board with Jimmy's jokes about them.
The way Susie tells it, there weren't making jokes about her early on, but when they did start, she really felt part of the family and enjoys them.
The thing I love about Sean's brand of comedy was that he sometimes touched upon dark humour, but always in a boyish way. He did cheeky, and he did cheeky so well it often flew under the radar just how clever he was for toeing the line. I'd never seen Jimmy emotional before, but his line about Sean still being with us was lovely.
he truly did have a knack for toeing the line. I think his self-indulgent grin that he always had whilst telling his jokes always added to it.
Such a candid interview. This was a real pleasure to watch. RIP Sean.
Sean's mascots were always pretty good value. Truly a show for 'almost' everyone.
Oh yeah, the mascots! 😅
My gran actually enjoyed this show (if dictionary corner wasn't too loud..)
the mascots always felt a bit contrived. sean lock's were usually the best of the, but ehh
I love Claude
As an American who’s gotten into British television, I feel it’s an absolute tragedy we never got to see Sean on Taskmaster.
@@tatumhildebrand5397why won’t he?
@bobbylockwood1100 Sean lock passed away before he got on the show. Not sure if he ever intended to be on the show, but we may never know.
He would have fuckin destroyed on Taskmaster
@@caramelephant3147 the prize category would have been wild I feel 😂
@@mildgooses4401 considering wgat he would bring on 8 out of 10 cats, I completely agree. And he would've had some pompous arguments for Greg and Alex
I think Sean was the first person to physically hurt me because I laughed so much I could not breathe and my sides hurt. He could start the slow fuse going, build it up and before you know it you are in pain. A comedy genius that is sadly missed. Of course we still have Jimmy who is a very special comedian and story teller
I am from a little town in the U.S and have been watching U.K. comedy for about 3 to 4 years. I fell in love with Sean Lock and all of the cast from 8 out of 10. My heart broke when I got the news of Sean . The Uk lost a treasure.
The world lost a treasure Bobby my friend.
Nothing like a good british panel show!
I rarely get sentimental about celebrity deaths, but when Sean passed, I was just devasted. A man I never met, but whos humour and jokes made me laugh and got me over some dark times, it felt like loosing a great friend.
When Jimmy said, "he psychologically destroyed Jon," I laughed so hard 😂
I'm probably never getting over the fact that Sean isn't here with us anymore. I'll live with it, with the pain, but probably never getting over it. I don't think I can.
Were you his lover
@@DnosSFS Very witty.
@@PH5221 It's what he would have wanted.
He's just a guy on TV that you've never met. He's still on TV. He's on KZhead as well. He hasn't gone anywhere.(yes. I know he died. That's not the point)
Him and Norm MacDonald. It seriously effected me to lose them. The "shocked" feeling lasted for _months_ and didn't abate until tragedy struck closer to home via the loss of both my father and stepmother in March 2022 - sepsis and sudden heart failure, respectively.
I would have loved to have had the opportunity to see the behind-the-scenes conversations/brainstorming with Jimmy, Rachel, Susie, Sean, & Jon. We only ever get to see the stuff that is recorded but to see the unscripted, unrecorded stuff (that no doubt could *not* be shown on television) would've been a real treat.
Yeah I'd love to see the creative 'process'
Rachel often remarks about someone in the Production Crew, is has a very FUNNY, but dirty mind. Unsure as to whom it are.!!! But would love to know.
@Mark Needham clearly it's Suzie Dent
“Sean, biggest achievement in life…?” I’m crying with laughter just thinking about it.

Claudia Winklemans responses made it so much better too.
Sean made me cry long before he passed. If you can make someone cry from a joke you've done your job well. I loved carrot in a box. Sean made that his. I absolutely loved when you, Jimmy, (incase u forgot who u are) cut him off after he brought back the nazis. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 The end immediately made me think of the gloryhole joke. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Carrot in a box is the longest a moment on telly had ever made me laugh
The 'glory hole' bit is the best!!! 🤣🤣
This "I would crawl over broken glass ...." line always gets me.
He was the comedians comedian. Honestly can’t express how much I loved him. It took me almost a year until I could bring myself to watch Sean Lock again.
A man is not dead while his name is still spoken. - Terry Pratchett. GNU Sean.. Thank you for all the laughs
Sean made me cry with laughter often. Rest easy Legend!
I'll still never forget when Sean got on Jimmy's case about the tax scandal 😅
And best of all, he did that BECAUSE he was such a good friend to Jimmy. Sean knew that, once he'd publicly ripped on Jimmy on his own show (a safe environment for him) and Jimmy had got through it, Jimmy would be bulletproof to anything the media or anyone else threw at him. The media would have no ammo left to throw, because theirs would be pathetic by comparison. It was exactly the kind of protection a kind and wise father figure would give.
just wanted to say, the way you and Sean interacted ... it was awesome. loosing someone is so bloody hard. thank you for talking about him - in some way you are still keeping his legacy alive . thank you
I'm American and only recently found Sean Lock. I'm so sad to find that he's passed, but so grateful that we live in an age where his work is memorialized forever. RIP.
The worst arsehole competition was the most incredible bit. Absolute legend
“Bent over and set off the sprinklers”
I just laughed all over again! Absolute legend for sure.
Claudia telling him to stop after the seal clubbing killed me off 😢
I was absolutely devastated when Sean died, and I still am. Truly a legend, will be sorely missed.
Your stage laugh is unmistakeable, but the way Sean Lock managed to get you to proper belly laugh out of left field is just the most wholesome experience.
Beautiful words. “That’s a challenging wank” will always be the funniest line I’ve ever heard. As Jimmy said it just comes from left field. RIP Sean
In the last decade Jimmy has turned into a real boy. Love it.
i never thought in a million years jimmy carr would have me crying at something other than his jokes.
Sean was a total legend. His brilliant sense of humour won't age, thankfully, so he's with us forever.
Sean still makes me laugh to this date. Especially the old clips. I will never forget him ❤
Sean was a comedy genius, I miss him. He was so funny.
What Jimmy said about someone dying twice. I don't think Sean will ever die. Such a master of comedy will never be forgotten.
I still think about Sean randomly throughout my days and even though he's dead, his jokes and memories still fill me with joy. Rip Sean, I really wish we got to hear more from him but what we have we must cherish.
This was quite a crazy thing: I had covid and was just lounging at home when I found the show. It made me laugh so hard and I binged it for a few days. I instantly fell in love with Sean's comedy and when I googled his name to see if he had specials, I found out that he had passed the day I found out about 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. I got sad and felt somewhat of a loss even when I barely knew anything about the man.
Sean was special. Whether you enjoy comedy, are a comic or lament the hope to be a comic. He was everything to anyone who understood humour. A true loss of a great man, comic and friend to many.
Sean Lock, Magic.....Thanks for remembering him Jimmy.❤️✌️🇬🇷
Loved and still love Sean, well said Jimmy, both legends..
Jimmy is right, he won't die in memory until the clips stop being watched. I don't go a week without watching a Sean video on here and i never will.
Big fat quiz. He shits on the performance of the children’s play. I can’t stop laughing. I watch it constantly
Sean is the only celebrity death that has actually hit me personally. I can't say I cried or anything, but when I heard the news my heart just sank. I was certainly sadder that day.
Wonderful words Jimmy. We all saw the chemistry. Thank you both. SL RIP. Miss you. x
My favourite Sean Lock line is about Rachel and her skiing disguise: "That's a challenging wank." I laughed for nearly half and hour straight after that line. It didn't help that everybody on the show laughed nearly that long themselves as that tends to make me laugh harder. Miss Sean so much.
Me too buddy me too
The way Jimmy talks about Sean here, you can tell they had a really special dynamic.
Sean and Miles...Good luck trying it without spit! Had me crying!
Thanks Jimmy! 8 out of 10 does countdown saved my life a few times. Ironically, I actually thought I was having a heart attack more than once! Come and see us in Seattle again soon.

He was such a great comedian
This was really nice. We miss you Sean.
we all needed, that. thanks jimmy.
The other thing I loved about Sean on Cats does Countdown, aside from how funny he was, was that it started off as a running joke that Jon took it very seriously and Sean didn't. Later on you could see Sean had got in to it and couldn't hide his enthusiasm for the actual Countdown part as well as the comedy part, and it happened with a lot of other guests on the show as well.
What a great tribute.
I somehow missed this before but so glad I saw it this morning, made my day.
